Can anyone confirm if the UPNP-bug is resolved?

With 3.12, UPNP was broken.

Re: Lots of logon attempts

Many thanks. I'll go for option nr 2, I did search the wiki, must've missed that entry. Thanks again!

Re: ROS 3.11 Torrent - no seeds?

uPnP is not really needed for torrents to work. it just improves things if you have it. if it doesn't work, you can manually add a DST-NAT rule for the port of your torrent programs choice (uPnP does the same, only automatic). Sure, but the uPnP protocol just makes things more smooth. I am still qu...

Now it's working! :)
Did you do something special? UPNP does not seem to work here.

Re: Forwarding ports with dynamic WAN IP

You can set protocol and port and 'in-interface=public_interface' to intercept packets on public interface.
Thanks mate!

Forwarding ports with dynamic WAN IP

/ip firewall nat add chain=dstnat dst-address=69.69.69.69 protocol=tcp dst-port=5900 \ action=dst-nat to-addresses=192.168.1.101 to-ports=5900 This is an example from the Wiki, where IP 69.69.69.69 represent the WAN address and 192.xxx.x.xxx the local IP. What do I do if I have a dynamic WAN IP? The...

Re: I can't get DHCP to give addresses on Wlan/Bridege interface

Just configured this, took a screenshot for you.

Eth1= WAN
Bridge1=DHCP server
Eth2+Eth3+Wlan=Bridged with Bridge1

Best of luck!

Re: Wireless LAN DHCP relay

Greetings! I setup each interface with its own dhcp server. For your setup, I would assign 192.168.0.1/24 to ether2 and 192.168.2.1/24 to wlan1. Then setup a dhcp server on each interface. The masquerade can be a "shotgun" type, like: /ip firewall nat add chain=srcnat action=masquerade ou...

Wireless LAN DHCP relay

Hi, One last question, then i will stop my spamming and in turn try to be of some assistance... This is my configuration: Eth1 = Connected to WAN Eth2 (192.168.0.1) = DHCP server and NAT (masquerade) with eth1 selected as out. Wlan1 = "Mode:AP bridge" with all the default settings I would ...

Re: R52 NIC with RB 433AH

Greetings! No driver needed. I have a 433AH here with a R52 working fine. Plug it in and there it was. Have you tried the wireless card in a different slot? Many thanks once again SurferTim, the mini PCI card was not correctly installed. Should've checked that first, but I trusted these guys (a loc...

R52 NIC with RB 433AH

Hi! Recently purchased a preconfigured RB 433AH (RouterOS 3.10) with an Atheros R52 NIC installed. Do I need to install a driver or do something special to detect the NIC? I can't seem to find it in the Interface menu, so i'm a bit confused. Any ideas of why i can't see the NIC? It should be correct...

Re: Internet sharing question

Greetings! A couple things could be causing problems: Do you have the IP 192.168.0.1/24 assigned to ether2? /ip address add address=192.168.0.1/24 interface=ether2 Is DNS set up? I set up those before the dhcp server. Then, when you enter the dhcp server interface, the defaults are all correct. + T...

Internet sharing question

Hello, I would like my RB433AH unit to receive an IP from my ISP that requires automatic DHCP discovery turned on (dynamic IP) on Eth1 and supply my 5 clients behind an 8 port switch with a local IP (Range 192.168.0.1/24) on Eth2. Where do I start? I tried this excellent tutorial here, http://wiki.m...
