I upgraded it to 3.30 and want to upgrade it to 5.4. But it shows license is out of date.

normis,

please check the ethernet issue.... on rb433 and 450 running V4.17 or v5.2 no errors, upgrading to v5.3 constanstly eth up and down

on rb532, 333 and 493ah run fine.

only 3 have r52n and reboot with kernel failure 5 to 10 times at day.

say that a customer downloading 2 Mbits generates latency, which is the total traffic at the AP in that time? 2.4 GHz in B-mode gives you a maximum of 3.5 Mbits in AP with 24 stations aprox, 2.4 ghz G can traffic 5 - 15 Mbit to 24 clients (usually)

to use 5mhz or 10mhz bandwith channel, need Atheros chipset on AP (like mikrotik R52 cars or ubiquitis XRs, etc) and on client.. no realtek, ralink etc, use CPE mikrotik or Nanostation or laptop with atheros chipset on it.

I understand that not using wireless encryption gives the slightest use cpu.
Now, if we use WEP or WPA or WPA2 .. with TKIP or AES .. which consumes more resources and which less cpu, which allows greater bandwidth??
