Re: Add new user via CLI/API version 5 not working

there is a workaround:

-> create, from web interface, a "template" user with a specific profile
-> add the new user with the following cmd:
/tool user-manager user add copy-from=template username=<user> password=<pass> customer=<customer>

Re: IPSec from dynamic IP

wow Reiney,
you ask me a very old stuff.

Manly I decided to NOT use IPsec with mikrotik, because there is no possibility of set ipsec route based.

So, now I'm using OpenVPN.

I don't know if with the release 5 is possible to set IPSec interfaces like with OpenVPN

sorry..

No, is not supported on 750:

OpenVPN in server mode ??

Hi,
I can read on the wiki (http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/OpenVPN), that OpenVPN is not supported in server mode (multi client to server).

I tried out and I'm able to connect more RB-client to one RB-server with OpenVPN.

Then, I'm asking: is the wiki incorrect ? or what?

NO, the problem is different. the loopback and the WLAN address are in an other range: 10.10.255.0/24 for loopback and 10.10.99.0/24 for the WLAN. I start the discovery on 10.10.255.0/24, the first CPE will be discovered (lets say 10.10.255.1) and with SNMP will be found that he has a ETH1 with the ...

Is not clear to me the behaviours of the command "generate-policy automatically". This should have effect for the networks behind the VPN, and not for the IP of the termination of the VPN. Per-Packet Load Balancing with OSPF

There is a siple way to switch from ECMP to per-Packet Load Balancing. The reason is simple: I wand to balance IPSec encrypted traffic, then with ECMP all flow will use only one link. I don't belive that mikrotik is not capable, CISCO is cabable to change this behaviours: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/...
