How many of us suffer from this? 30% of rb's have the Ethernet port flap on a regular base. All > 5.4version. Like the disconnect issue MT says they can't reproduce, but it is definitely there.... Same problem here, traffic stops for few seconds. Log show same as reported.
SOmetimes traffic stops completely and i need disable enable eth.
Affected units are mipsbe sw versions 5.4 and up on my side.

Hello,
is routeros supporting fibex optic cards for example Intel® 82572GI Gigabit Controller ?
Or is it better to buy convertor to 1GB ethernet ?
The problem is i need to do NAT and lot ofoperations, so i think the PC with optic adpater should do the job better ?

Hi,
i discovered that when using v3 as AP, when it switchs over certain data rate then the pings are dropped. When is set data rates and clear the higher rates, then pings are ok.

Any other solution than setting manualy data rates ?

1. Make sure you are using full 3.0 not a RC 2. Uninstall (don't just disable) any unused packages. 3. Do you have any performance change? Or you just jump out of chair because one number that is background service and don't have to give precise per second result????????? Average CPU load per 5min - thats where the usable information is... N/C . I cant make aby reasonable operation in winbox on RB11...

Hello, in all ROS versions i tried the CPU is cycling to 100%, tried on all RB(112.532.333.133), everywhere same / from time to time CPU go to 100%. The very bad situation is on RB112 where when used ROS 2.9.38 i got 18% CPU load, when used 3.0 ht ecpu is almost all the time on 100% / when connected...

perhaps disabling default authentication? then disabling entries will do as you wish... ;)

It is disabled of course , then when disabling entries it is still liek enabled.

when disabling entry in access list, it is still active for the card. Disabled access list station can enter , i need to disable authenticate and also forwarding in even disable access list entry to prevent it from entering AP.

It is leaking on this platforms ( 532, 133, 112 etc.)and eating CPU , but seems noone care, as it works on x86 intel platforms.
I hope they will fix it soon, im curious it is working for you on 133. On old wrap - 686 geode CPU i have no problem with RC6.

Just to mention - same setup downgrade on RB532 to 2.9.44 , band 5g-turbo , nstreme enabled giving 20Mb download / 6 mbit upload constant .
2nd side is intel x86 3.0 RC1.

i'm using country Romania and when installed 2.9.45 , the 5ghz band dissapeared. I think its because driver changes , but i need to go to the site and change the country to enter 5ghz band area.
It is a bug or do you have any suggestion how to avoid this ?

i experience very low TX power output on 2.4 band. On 5gz it is same as cm9, on 2.4 it is like 10-15 db lower .

after upgrade to this versions , from 2.9.17 and on 2nd box from 2.9.23 my clients disassociated after while, didnt reassociate , when i change to 2.4-B it is working ok.

Hello, i see little problem. I upgraded to 2.9.10 on rb532 and the bridge interface is not showing tx/rx rates and after some time the traffic is stopping to go throught the interface. After reboot the traffic flows again for sometime / half a day. Anyone else see same problem ? What to do ? Ianek
