Which provider can do this? Dunaweb? :D No, but I don't know for sure who did the installation, so no names. :) This is a new client of ours, who had very low standards in IT before realizing it hurts the business. Another good find, an offset antenna with an "all purpose plastic connector box" used instead of a head.

I am running it on ether1. I have RB2011s running fine at other sites with v6.10, where PPPoE client is on ether6.

pppoe stops passing traffic

Hello, We have a serious issue with PPPoE client in RouterOS. At random intervals, the PPPoE client stops passing traffic. Seen from the PPPoE server side, it is still connected, but no data is passing. After a few hours it reconnects, then everything is back to normal. If disconnected from the serv...

It is nice to sell a rack enclosure, just to stuff equipment into it like garbage.
If the NAS does not fit on top of the PC, it will be okay to turn it 90 degrees.

Set strong password, disable unneeded services, create good firewall rules.
Use good VPN solution. IPSec and OpenVPN should be okay depending on the settings. Perhaps SSTP in RouterOS 5 will be better.

If he has more customers than public IPs, it is understandable. Because there are a limited amount of ports to use for srcnat, if there are lots of customers with many simultaneous connections, you must NAT them to more than one public IP.
