Keep in mind, they're talking about outbound traffic only. This means no dst-nat is necessary. Do you have anything in IP -> Firewall -> Filters? If the answer is no, and the Wii can successfully connect to the internet, then you don't need to do anything else. Nobody will make a connection directly...

It's rebooting every few seconds? What's setup in your watchdog entry?

Instead of trying to upgrade/downgrade, reset the unit back to defaults and try programming it again. Sounds like it's an errant configuration (or a power supply issue like vacarosie200 mentions) more than a firmware problem.

This happened to me as well on an x86 system. To fix, all I had to do was delete and re-add the dhcp server. This did not happen on our 532 board we first attempted the upgrade on.

The 10dB offset is due to a 10dB amplifier on board of the card. The real TX Power is the power level coming off of the radio card's chipset. Yes. Also keep in mind that if you run in compatibility mode, you'll see your n throughputs drop when a b or g client connects due to how the wireless systems work together. Is there any reason you are trying to run it in mixed mode?

No, the RB1000 has always had the 1.5GB memory limit. It's just hard to find 1.5GB sticks of RAM, so Roc-Noc goes up to the 2GB modules. RouterOS is still only using 1.5GB total.

The Realtek 8139 offloads a lot of network processing to the CPU. Combine that with the simple queues, the PPPoE connections, and a filter list that is not optimized, and there's a chance that is where most of your CPU usage is going to. With a quick look the config looks ok, and just saw that you're working with 2 omnis.

and we use USB drives for our routers - they work at any hardware when we replace it =) so I don't like theories that say it shouldn't fork for years =)
