Re: Web proxy settings question

i suggest you use /ip firewall filter to drop what you want to drop
in all cases i beleive your webproxy is working properly and there is a small trap somewhere
if you have public ip on ur mt i would connect with a read only user to check it out

Re: MikroTik DSL load balancing

in the new routeros versions, u do not have to mark any packets to obtain a load balance. you could simply add 2 gateways in your ip route to get your load balance work however, you could also do it in other ways such as mark client's ip addresses and forward each pool to a different route, or also ...

Re: 100% CPU & high temp [SOLVED]

your configuration should not lead to high cpu usage and high temperature
its either the equipment is damaged or there is a mistake somewhere else
try to system reset your board and check the cpu usage before reconfiguring

Re: Load Balancing over Multiple Gateways and Web Proxy

it is impossible to redirect traffic to webproxy on a routerboard that is making a load balance
you would try to put another mikrotik for webproxy redirection

Re: External Proxy

yes of course you can
simply create a transparent webproxy (ip-webproxy) and put the parent proxy's ip and port
and in firewall - nat do the following:
chain=dstnat protocol=tcp dst-port=80 action=reirect to ports=proxyport

Re: External Proxy

since you have a proxy server, it is better for you to get ur internet to your proxy server first
and then, set your gateway and dns to the proxy ip address
do not forget to allow the mt ip on the proxy
