If 22MB/s that means 44 x 512kb/s users? And this without any latency issues?

I will be using pure PPPoE server, I have a Juniper J4350 behind it for shaping and queing etc.

Another max question - PPPoE server on 532/A

I am trying to avoid running pc boards on highsites as they take up a lot of space, plus the issue of redundancy has come up again (PSU failures + heat) I am gonna run a sector per 532 board bridged with a PPPoE server behind those sectors. My network need to scale as well as I add on sectors to han...

For pure security reasons you can't cache HTTPS and for a good reason. Most secure sites will not accept the connection in the first place and those that do are NOT secure anyway. Please read documention on why it is not suppose to work from squid-cache for example. It is pretty simple and is due to...

As it should be. MT is great OS and should not be spoilt be something like this. Most uses of MK dictates that netbios should *NOT* be forwarded and I will be mighty disappointed if it did. Install a WINS server or domain controller. Else use lmhost in the advanced network settings on a desktop on e...

I have been working with MPLS for some time now. Most of my experience is Cisco and Juniper router based, but current solutions is pretty expensive considering that I use Mikrotik bridged and use a Cisco/Juniper Router to do MPLS. It would be great to intregrate both into the same structure. MPLS of...

You do MPLS and I will personally buy at least 30 licenses..

I can then deploy Mikrotik instead of expensive Cisco routers!

You have my vote for MPLS.. adding it now!

Thanks Janisk,

Its just that there is always a better way of doing things. I am fairly happy with my configuration, but with the scale of the network we are setting up, I am just passing this by to see if I can better on it.

Opinion - Wireless Network

We are in the process of setting up quite a big network. :D I have done this a couple of times, all with Mikrotik and I am fairly efficient in its use. However this one will be different and some ideas might be helpful. Opinions regarding my setup will be appreciated. All be using 5.1-5.8GHz. All IP...

I agree.. get briding right for redundacy and you can go forever as long as you replace the hardware that screwed around.

I have APs with 4 x 90 sector for close to 2 years with no hassles at all, even with an occasioanl water leakage problem.
