Re: L41G-2axD password

Thanks for the update. Not going to read all those posts. But scanning the solutions, still seems as much more difficult than before and for what purpose?

Re: L41G-2axD password

Why is there a password from the factory? We've had an automated script for a very long time that logs into the new router, sets all parameters including SSIDs and SSID passwords and system passwords.

Now we have to manually enter the factory password? Any way around this?

Thanks

Re: LTE not passing traffic

All suggestions presented so far are already tried or are in place. We have tried the broadband and nxtgenphone (apn apn=NXTGENPHONE name=lte1). Again this was working until we changed out the sim card. Thanks in advance. Here is the config /interface bridge add name=bridge1 /interface lte set [ fin...

LTE not passing traffic

We recently replaced an ATT SIM card in our RBLtAP-2HnD. The card is registering on the ATT network and the connection info looks solid, There is a VPN set up and the receiving router - In the log we can see something trying to connect from and ATT IP. ( the connection only happens when we restart t...

Syslog exclude certain entries

We are using Sonar. Every time it connects to a router the syslog is recording "user sonar logged in from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx via api". It logs in every 3 minutes so our log list is full of this. How do we write a logging rule to eliminate those entries? We have tried dozens of rules utilizing...

Updating from 6.28

Been awhile since updating that far back. We inherited a dozen devices - 750s and 912s. Wasn't there a warning about updating to far forward? As though we needed to step up to 6.33 before attempting later like the stable version now?

Thanks

Thanks to all that submitted the security profile script, lots of good folks here. But none of the emails we received addressed the dynamic SSID incorporating a portion of the serial number.

We have a device that pulls a DHCP IP but is not SNMP capable. So we thought a work around might we could monitor the ethernet port on a Mikrotik router to make sure it is active with the device connected.
