CCR1036 CGNAT rebooting whith about 5Gbps of traffic.

Hi guys, We're using a CCR1036-8G-2s+ as a CGNAT device that attend about five thousands off PPPoE connections that is handled by a Juniper MX104 device. So, we noted when we have about 5 Gbps of traffic passing throut the CCR it start to reboot constantly. CPU usage is good, about 40% at mean. When...

Re: RouterOS v6rc10 pre-released

Hello guys, If the option change-mss is enabled on PPPoE profile the dynamic simple queue doesn't work properly. The lab: PPPoE-Server(Mikrotik x86) -> PPPoE-Client (Ubuntu Linux) No radius, no usermanager. We first established five connections with 10 Mbps each one (50 Mbps). Ok queue works great, ...

OSPF static routes distribution problem.

Hi guys, Once again I'm having problems with OSPF in Mikrotik ROS. This is getting desperate! First, all tests was executed in a Cisco environment in Packet Tracer software and works fine. Ok, here is the problem: R1 receives all routes properly. It goes to the network 192.168.0.0/24 via R3 (10.0.0....

Hi bss,

Googling I found your post and I'm having the same problem here.
Did you solve the issue?

Thanks!

OSPF redundancy.

Hi again,

I need to activate the L3 (link3) figured on the diagram below to provide redundancy to the topology.
How can I do that considering if L1 fail, the advertisements from Area1 have to pass through Area2 to reach Area0?

Thank you!

OSPF Virtual Link

Hello,

Please, is there any prevision to correct the OSPF virtual link problem? It has been a problem since ROS v3.30 routing-test.
This is an important feature in the protocol.

A discussion about that can be found here:

Thank you.

Re: OSPF + MPLS.

Make EoIP tunnel between 2 loopback ip addresses. Remember to have unique eoip id in your network. Hi jalokim, thank you for de reply. My situation is figured in the image attached and works fine on ROS 3.30 (no virtual link bug) but not in 4.x/5.x. How can I use EoIP tunnels in place of virtual li...

OSPF Multi-area without virtual links.

Hi all,

Can anyone deploy an OSPF multi-area (3 or more consecutive areas) topology without virtual links (virtual links has a bug since 3.30 routing-test)?
is it possible with EoIP or VPLS tunnels?

Thanks.

Is there any prevision to fix the OSPF virtual links?
It's not possible to create a multi-area topology without that.

Thanks.

Re: OSPF + MPLS.

Virtual Link is an OSPF's very important feature. The bug should have been corrected in 4.17 release.
We have to stop the deployment.

Thanks.

OSPF + MPLS.

Hi all, I have 50 routers running ROS and I'm starting an implementation of OSPF and MPLS protocols. The problem is: If I use ROS 4.x, the OSPF Virtual Links do not work, the default route in the end devices is not installed properly. This issue has been reported to the Mikrotik Support Team and I w...
