DHCP information on MIB

Hi ...

Where on MIB tree can I extract some DHCP info such as:

- Total enries
- Status = waiting
- Status = bound

Not individual status but a filtered result (e.g. 200 total entries, 185 bound, 15 waiting)??

Thanks in advance for any help.

While cloning config from a 3011 to a 1100AX2, drag'n drop multiple .rsc files from 3011, the 1100 or reboot or close WinBox and don't complete the writing process.

Same files from a folder on a pc to 1100 works ok.

Depending on your network size (from 400-500 users onwards), you may need to increase the Max concurrent Queries setting on IP > DNS.
On version 6.40.X still 100 or can be more (1000, 2000, etc) ?

Hi ... Over-sea propagation have some tricks. If the day is calm, no winds, you can expect a kind of reflecting layer around 40m ASL and lots of multipath. Re: Switching between NTP Client and GPS.

In theory, therefore, this will work? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GPS901-RS232-GPS- ... .m63.l1177 I tried plugging a Garmin GPS V with an external antenna (that I know works) onto the RS232 port of an Intel based test RB but I failed to get any comms between RouterOS and Garmin. I think so ... The say t...

Re: Switching between NTP Client and GPS.

Hi Eben: Actually an old Furuno GN74 module (1993 or so). But any GPS that have RMC sentence enabled and a serial RS232 port is ok. My module does not have an enclosure. It's just the module itself on a 1 x 3 x 5 cm metal shiled and a 10 pin fence connector somewhere (besides the SMA antenna input)....

Re: Huawei E169

Tested on a regular PC (pretty old, 450MHz Pentium) and got the same problem, so I guess it´s not power-related? Changed the initialization-string to ATZ. It seems to work when locked to GPRS (changed settings from Windows). With autoselect or 3G only I only get the "modem hunged up"-erro...

Default Gateway & Winbox

Hi ... I saw something around the forum some months ago but I did not found the topic. May be a dumb question. I have a simple config to distribute internet access at home using wrap board with a 3G usb modem + ATH 802.11B/G mini-pci running AP. When I installed ROS for the first time (3.16 I guess)...

Re: Huawei E169

Hi ... I've been around with a E156 some time ago, on PC Engines WRAP. At that time ROS 3.16. Today is 3.21. I don't know if E156 is closer to E220 or E169 but E156 have those built-in virtual CDROM (which carries win drivers) and a Mini-SD card adaptor. Anyway, when connected E156 (may be others) c...

Re: USB Resources on WRAP boards X ROS 3.20

try emailing a support output file from your router to support@mikrotik.com so see why it doesn't show any info in the USB menu. Yes, this is the correct option. Since all USB peripherals was runnig ok I left it this way, waiting for 3.21. Then some days ago I set support output file to support and...

USB Resources on WRAP boards X ROS 3.20

FYI ... Last weekend I "donwgraded" from 4.01 beta to 3.20 I run os WRAP (1E and 2E) Checking system > resources I notice that USB tab does not shows any info. I created a test flash and install 3.17 and 4.01. Both versions shows USB resources ok: * OHCI Host Controller * Memorex 2G Flash ...

Switching between NTP Client and GPS.

Hi: May be usefull for someone. I'm using an OEM GPS module on WRAP RS232 serial port (ROS 4.01beta1). But GPS antenna is not at the right place yet and sometimes GPS data is not "valid". So there is a small routine to check if board clock must be tied to GPS or to a NTP-Server anywhere, a...

Hi mrz et al ... It's easy. /interface pppoe-client monitor pppoe-test once do={ :if ($"idle-time" >= 60s) do={ /interface pppoe-client disable ....; :delay 3s; /interface pppoe-client enable ....; } } Well, this should be ok because monitor routines already have "idle-time" buil...

Re: Clients packet loss on WRAP board + CF Card Licence NR

Thanks dot-bot If you want to use your CF on a PC simply use it in a CF<->IDE adapter, not in a USB adapter. I'm 90% sure it should work then. Problem is in USB adapter interpretation of medium and/or access geometry. Yes, makes sense. I thought use CF on a desktop PC to compare modem behaviour usin...

Auto-reconnect PPP interface

Hi: I'm a RouterOS home user. Because I had some WRAP boards (EOL now) hanging around, I decided to use one of them to distribute internet access (and LAN) to some PCs at home instead of use a standard motherboard with lots of processing power, cooling fans here and there, no-breaks and etc. I don't...

Clients packet loss on WRAP board + CF Card Licence NR

Hi. I installed ROS 3.16 on a 128M CF card, which I switch between 2 differnt WRAP boards (2E and 1E) I'm doing tests. I enabled on both boards the USB feature, normally disabled and unpopulated with electronic parts (ESD ckt, connectors, etc). They're USB 1.1. At USB I have a E156 3G Huawei modem. ...

Huawei E156 + ROS 3.16 follow up.

Hi: I tested E156 on two different Pentium machines (a 1.3GHz laptop and a 2.4GHz desktop) using ROS 3.16. The only way to make this 3G modem connect is disabling VT102 at \system\console and if E156 is the ony USB device must use USB1. USB2 may be the telemetry interface or the MMC/CD interfaces. I...

Re: Huawei usb 3g modems (used by vodafone)

most 2.9 routers can safely be upgraded to v3.16 by using netinstall. just try the only currently available RouterBOARD with USB is model 230. We will have some more models next year. [off-topic]I have a stand alone WRAP2E with 2.9.28 as far I remembered (MARE400 AP). But it's off for a long time n...

Re: Huawei usb 3g modems (used by vodafone)

I don't understand, you got access to the AT mode? then RouterOS already fully supports this modem. What happens in AT mode, then is completely modem dependent. RouterOS has nothing to do with that. Maybe you have to contact your mobile provider and work with them, to find out why it doesn't connec...

Re: Huawei usb 3g modems (used by vodafone)

Hi. I've been trying to make an Huawei E156 work on 3.16 OS. I created a test machine (24h licence period) on a standby laptop (1.3G Pentium) which have only one LAN onboard and there's anything else plugged to USB bus except the E156. I listed the detected USB devices and there is one "Huawei ...
