AT&T hotspot can't VPN

I am able to VPN into my Mikrotik from a laptop using a verizon hotspot, but not my iphone with AT&T --- AT&T says is my VPN, but I know thats not the case, is there any setting in mikrotik that might help, or a way to prove the ATT that its their issue?

Transparent brdige using PPtP and EoIP Help

I have followed several well written examples of setting up a transparent bridge with PPtP and EoIP. When we get to the stage (the end) of adding the ports to the bridge, all network traffic is interrupted. Internet access is lost. It appears that all traffic is routed to the bridge and none to anyw...

more info

The problem is the router is expired. I already have it rebuilt and setup. - the delay in getting a license was caused by Visa not wanting to send money out of the country.

- so the eval is expired. can I save that router? without losing the install?

license problem

I had a router issue, so I followed the support idea that you need to run the current version. I upgradded (fresh install) - over the weekend I configured this system that MUST be running all the time. I was unable to get a key from mikrotik, so the eval expired. Question - how can I activate or sav...

Is PPPOE the right choice?

I have a Win2000 Domain that users login to: I have a HotSpot for guest internet users. I want to setup a Wireless connection for Domain Members to log into the domain and have access to their network shares.

Is PPPOE the correct path to follow? or is there a better (or correct) way?

I got it working, there are some tricks that you need to know. A default install will not work. You need to change your system (or user) policy to have the passwords stored in a diffrent way. And if you are using Active Directory you have to authorize IAS to access the users. It does work, but you n...

I got mine working at the office. I use winbox so I can't give you commands. The above examples worked for me, I just had to ...

can you ping an URL - such as

ping http://www.google.com?

If this does not work you might want to look into your DNS settings.
