Re: v7.15beta [testing] is released!

Hetzner has both Dedicated and Virtual AMPERE ARM64 servers available. CHR images are coming in next betas, currently we only release ISO for bare metal Ampere servers, such as these: https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?d=ampere+altra
Hi Normis,

Re: v7.14beta [testing] is released!

In my world, linux kernel version 5.7 is totally obsolete and i am hoping most of all that they start a version 8 running linux 6.1 or later. for those how use Mikrotik on a large bgp design and use Hwl3-offload there is still instability if you add also fastpath to the mix on CCR2216
7.14beta3 crashed today with any log or supout after 20hours of operation.

Hmm.... that's reassuring but we need to test this thoroughly specially rpki validation this will surely a showstopper to us, BFD is working properly glad it was sorted out.
rpki is working in my design with routinator in a vm not docker, BFD is not present in my config.

Probably first you need to make sure that it is actually using 100% "for ever". When you have a full BGP feed and you also have created route filters that can take long to evaluate, it sure can take a long time to complete the first pass over the entire table. not it is a bug. a case is a...

using packet sniffer tool on x86 put all the CPUs to 100%, to mitigare the issue you have to limit the filter to just one or two interface maximum.

Re: v6.47beta [testing] is released!

@Xymox, rpingar, anas94c - regarding the LACP, it does look like an ARP entry never gets completed when the ARP reply is received on a certain slave port. We will try to fix this in the coming RouterOS testing releases, thanks for sharing the details. In the meantime, you could try to change the bo...

Re: TCP SYN Flood attack causing high cpu

we experiance the same high cpu load on ccr and moderate syn-flood. We were able to catch the attackers in some scenarios and filter them in raw. But in one case we are not able to catch them: - when the attacker uses all the ip of some /22 to all our IPs so they have a low number of syn packet rate...

it happens on real traffic in peek hours of traffic.
Not related to total traffic but seems related to connections/traffic parameters

dealing with this issue since a coupple of weeks ago.

i have this same behavior on CCR-1072 netwoorking is the service that uses all the cpu. Re: v6.34 [current] is released!

Can you be more specific? What exactly isn't working? I've upgraded 3-4 devices to 6.34 so far and I haven't got any issues with SNMP (or anything else for that matter) using Cacti, Observium, Dude and custom scripts. We are seeing the numbers on the interfaces way lower than the actual interfaces ...

Re: when single tcp stream improvement will be available for nv2?

80mhz is not working on u vendor on ptmp, so is not only a mikrotik problem at least on ptmp some people thinks 80mhz on a ptmp setup monopolizes spectrum in the area of coverage i think the way to increase capacity will be using more directional clients and sectors to improve signal and reduce int...

Uldis, I think that the improvments on 802.11ac on single tcp stream definitely prduced a better results in NV2 too. We did some extensive test and in all cases we had bettere NV2 performance also in non AC radio. The only for the low signal (less than -75) clients we had the same performance than p...
