Re: Nstreme question: what latency at long range?

Hi all, Can those who have put in real-life Nstreme links at long range (20 - 50 miles) indicate what latency (msec) you are seeing on the links? We have a possible customer who is asking. AFAIK it will depend on CPU speed, modulation rate/setting, and Frame size. We have the short-range (<10km) re...

Do note the risk of "self-interference" if any of the cards are on adjacent frequencies: a big "don't" for doing that. It also matters "which card", some are more prone to interference as the filters on CM9s and clones are worse than later R52 and clone chipsets, which...

Using the SR9 in anything other than the regualr 2.4 mode is like trying to do a long range 'G' connection, and I dont know about anybody else, but I have never been able to accomplish that.
I could establish 100km link with 8 mbps
bandwidth with g only mode.

Re: R52 as b/g AP loosing power/sensitivity

Hello We have a number of R52 sitting on RB532 boards, running as AP (2.9.27). On a few of these, we have seen significantly loss of power and sensitivity after some weeks in good operation. The problem comes gradually, and the signal loss is at least 10 dB. It looks like bad pigtail/cable/antenna,...

Re: wrap w/sr5 throughput

What kindof throughput can i expect for two wraps(233 or 266mhz/ 64mb or 128mb of ram) with 1 sr5 per wrap in WDS? i know on rb532 i can get ~23mb, but due to unavailability of rbxxx i must use wraps.
Around 20's Mbps stable tops.
