Excluding specific routes in RIP

Hi Guys,

I am trying to work out how to exclude specific static routes from propagating via RIP v2.
I know there's an option to "Never Distribute Static Routes" but i want to allow some, and not allow others.

Is there a way to do this within ROS 3.11?

Thanks in advance!

OpenVPN LZO-Compression

Hello,

Any chance of adding LZO-Compression to Mikrotik ROS 3.XX ?
Just working on a few projects that require it with OpenVPN to tie in with existing systems.

Cheers guys!

Re: Installation Problem

I ended up getting it going, I had to install RouterOS on the HDD in an external USB SATA drive enclosure, on a different computer. Once it was installed, i just swapped the drive back to the original machine, and it booted fine. Looks like you cant install mikrotik from an IDE CD drive to a SATA ha...

Installation Problem

Hi Guys, Pulling my hair out here trying to resolve this problem. I have just built a new Intel Core Duo system based on a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L/S3L motherboard. I have installed an 80gig seagate IDE HDD, and an IDE CD-Rom drive. When i tried installing 2.9.50 via an ISO CD it starts de-compressing u...

Re: Monitoring of battery voltage via winbox

google snmp dc voltage monitor yields lots of solutions including this http://ipenabled.com/dcv.html for only $125 you could always have your dude monitor the snmp and shut down the MT if voltage drops, of course, how do you turn it back on lol -J Just looking at that product, from what i can tell,...

Re: Monitoring of battery voltage via winbox

We have a custom site power controller system made. Were using it to manage our Mikrotik systems run from 12v UPS, or remote solar powered sites. - 12v - 48v supply. -4 x Relay controlled outputs (3amp ea max) fused. (so you can power up and down routerboards) -Battery Voltage, Current draw, and cha...

You just need to add the 3 vlans to your eth2 interface. [admin@MikroTik] interface vlan> add name=vid160 vlan-id=160 interface=ether2 [admin@MikroTik] interface vlan> print Flags: X - disabled, R - running # NAME MTU ARP VLAN-ID INTERFACE 0 X vid160 1500 enabled 160 ether2 [admin@MikroTik] interfac...

It gets the updates, but the routes time out after 3 minutes, and are dropped from the table. If i remove the RIP network address, and then add it again it recieves the routes again, but then ...
