UBNT gear has a MTU limitation of 1504 i think, not enough to pull VLPS over it...check the UBNT forums

With BGP there is no reason not to use two route-reflectors. One wouldn't act as a backup per se, but having two would give you the redundancy you are after.

Edit: Another thing, you can push those canopys to one channel if your good enough. May take a little extra power. I use 400mw cards with 17.5 db horizontal sectors.

The this is that the RB192 did not sold well cause it was underpowerd to be used as a POP Router, but I can say that if a RB492AH would be available , it would be a great seller as a POP Router. We used to use the RB532 with daughtercard for this... now its gone.

I just got a batch of RB150's (the last I think) and the cases that came with them are great!

Huge improvemenet! nice textured finish and more weight on them,

now the rb150 feels solid ... I really hated the glossy case, it go streaked with your fingers easly ...

the news is that the RB192 is EOL.. So is there a replacement on the horizon? Theres a huge need for a medium powered Multiport router for POPS and Towers.. The MPLS Protocol has a QOS feature were the MPLS frames are tagged with a particular QOS label/flag that is recognized by every router in the MPLS network.

This way you dont need to specify QOS settings in every router of the MPLS network for every customer ... just in the end points

great!, I downloaded the combined package bundle in the 500 series and aparently the mpls pkg is not included un there. I downloaded the separete pkgsm and it was there. WInbox and everthing!!!

Any ETA for the MPLS QOS stack?

Dont expect wirespeed performance from port to port, the rb192 is cpu limited and you cant expect switch performance from it

I just receive my first pair of RB500, Im currently testing them with CM9's

Im using WDS mode and Im bridging to the eht interface.

As soon as I activate Nstream, I loose conection... is this a bug?

Well I came with that number cause there are users of this forum achieving 65 mbps tcp half dup. using nstreme 1 and turbo ... so nstreame2 should yield about the same full dup... well that is my opinion...

Any one using Nstreme2 in a PTP setup and turbo mode? Working great, but You need 1Gbps NIC to use all "power of dual" 7000KB/s Download, 5800KB/s upload via ftp same time! So you're pulling aprox 56 mbps down and 46 mbps up... what kind of cou setup you have?, I was thinking of gettin more like 65...
