Re: X86_64 ROS - 64bit Mikrotik [SOLVED]

CHR do not offer satisfactory setup in our case in term of resources, install process and stability. We already tried. Also, there is issue if you use 10G interfaces. In x86 mikrotik every 10G card can have ALL Cores of CPU for processing. So if you use CPU with 8 cores, all 8 can process every suc...

Cloud Router Switch LACP

Hi all.
Is it possible to aggregate 2 ports in LACP in hardware, without pass to CPU (with 1 gbit/s limit between CPU and switch chip)?

MPLS load balancing

Hi all. This is my problem. We have a routed network with PPPoE concentrators and some other backhauling routers. Routers exchange routes with OSPF and it works OK. Between two routers we have 2 links in load balancing with OSPF equal cost. Now we have to enable MPLS on the net, and it works ok, but...

Re: CLOUD CORE ROUTER

Sharing my experience: Upgrading My CCR to Ver 6.8RC1 of 19/12/2013 all seems runing ok, BGP, OSPF ... loaded 3 x BGP upstream provider with 470000 prefixes each in 2 minutes 11 secondes... This is my experience: I had a CCR1016-12G with v6.7, only one BGP peer, full table. After a few days it stop...

I also have this problem.
With v5.26 it works ok, but no, this is not a resolution, this is a workaround...

Re: Hotspot Walled Garden https problem

Hi TheWiFiGuy, thank you for the answer. fbstatic-a.akamaihd.net has tens of IP, is not simple to place all in walled-garden ip. I founded an other problem, but I don't know if it is related. In hotspot ethernet segment, if I am non logged and I nslookup fbstatic-a.akamaihd.net, I obtain a wrong ans...

Hotspot Walled Garden https problem

Hi all. I am trying to work with hotspot, but I have a serious problem. I need to walled garden all facebook.com, and also *.akamaihd.net (for Facebook's contents). If I insert in walled garden dst-host=*.akamaihd.net and I try to get https ://fbstatic-a.akamaihd.net/rsrc.php/v2/yG/r/oeyMmgGXkU1.js ...

Re: Problems on PPPoE over different Beta/Stable versions

Thank you.
Please, update if you have news, because I have to migrate from a Cisco 7200 to a RB1100AHx2, but I will do it only when it seems stable.

PPPoE server problems

Hi. I have a serious problem with ROS. I have a Cisco 7200 that I want to (partially) replace with a RB1100AHx2. The C7200 terminates some hundereds of PPPoE connections. The problem is that if I try to connect an Asus RT-N10E, it can't. I have the problem also with other kind of routers (for exampl...
