Any timeframe on when this would be remedied?I don't know if it has been noted, but it doesn't seem that the UPS package is functional on the ccr with 6.0rc9.
A provider to each router I suppose is the only way since I'm pretty sure they each will only give me a single circuit. Are you wanting to run a provider to each router or both providers to both routers?
I'm real curious to know this also. Anyone?Anyone put CCR into production yet ? How is the stability and real performance ? buggy ?
That card is single chain though, he won't be able to get the throughput he needs with that.use r5shpn mini pci. it is a 800mw card. should give u ample power.
Yes, I would like this also. Can You tell me, how to connect it to RS232 (which pin)?Alternative BackUPS solution:
You can connect it directly to the RS232 and monitor its state via /tools sigwatch.
Picture is welcome
I am running 4.10I am seeing signs in 5.4 that OSPF just crashes on a specific interface and won't participate any longer. Are you running 5.x?
Sam
Still waitingNormis, I responded to your email with what you asked for but I still have yet to hear back from you.
Are you saying that you must power it via the power jack when utilizing poe out?if you want to use the power out feature, you must use the 24V power adapter. but if you don't want to use it, you can still take power from PoE. the PoE out feature is optional, you can switch it off
? Then it's no longer 802.11g.Enable both chains
Colebert, did you ever figure out the power issue with the SR71-15?Use Ubquiti cards. Far less problems than with Mtik, in my experience. SR71-15 is a champ.
I don't know if you missed it on my previous post, but I already do this. The best practice is assign static ips outside the range of the dhcp server. If it does issue an ip you have assigned as static, there will be a challenge.
I figured the reason it could not ping www.google.com is because it can't resolve the ip address? The fact that you can't ping http://www.google.com shows that it can not find the gateway to internet.
I left the dns address to be assigned automatically and tried the "repair" option and it did not fix the connectivity issue so maybe this is not the issue?it will be the same as if you right-click on the network
connection icon and choose "repair".
nstreame wich 1x antena is a senselessness , in my opinion nstreame justified when use 2X antena in order duplex speed success .
I would double check to make sure this isn't the problem.yeah i know , because i m using turbo mode , there should be 40 MHZ space
but this is not the problem
How does this affect your decision? Does it have to do with the distance limit on poe runs? What do you do as an alternative?Depends on the height of the tower.
You will have to adjust the parts that don't work if it's different hardware. Even between same models make sure you remove device specific things like mac addresses on Ethernet interfaces.
