Re: Round decimal number [SOLVED]

I figured out a way to do it using a nested :find inside a :pick (its not actually rounding it though) :local rawLat "3820.0410" :local rawLon "-12242.2638" :local latDecimalPosition [:pick $rawLat -1 ([:find $rawLat "." -2]+3) ] :local lonDecimalPosition [:pick $rawLon -1 ([:find $rawLon "." -2]+3)...

Re: POST Request with fetch

To owerload content type need use directive http-header-field and set key content-type in lower case, example http-header-field="content-type:text/plain" Wow wish this was on the man page for fetch. I just wasted two nights trying to figure this out. If you don't use lower case, fetch will send two...

Re: LtAP SIM not inserted [SOLVED] [SOLVED]

I read the manual and found that when using the bottom slot, it is necessary to put the sim card into the 2nd or 3rd sim slot and also disable UIMS2 using the following command:
AT!ENTERCND="A710"
AT!CUSTOM="UIMS2ENABLE"=0

This document covers the MT3337 gps module, which is what is in the mini LtAP.

It also includes the commands to change the baud rate on the module.

Re: LtAP GPS [SOLVED]

Cool photos, cool fcc images! Can you ascertain what gps module is used? Maybe in the software somehow? Maybe there is a command you can send to the module over serial to tell you some diagnostic data or ID the module? If we knew what module we could find the datasheet for it and the antenna specifi...

Re: LtAP GPS [SOLVED]

Does the GPS work without the external antenna? What kind of antenna are you using? Also fill me in on what kind of connector is on the LtAP for external GPS? (datasheet says MMCX, but it looks more like a oversized photoshoped RP-MMCX) Does this help? https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=...

firewall filter rule !=5900

Hello I have a gre/ipsec tunnel between an office and a workshop.

I would like to secure all traffic that isn't for VNC from reaching the plant network.

What chain do I use?
Do I use src or dst port?

Re: ipsec tunnel

I fixed this by ensuring the gateway ip was set correctly on the trouble node inside the rb750. Without the gateway the packets have no way of knowing where to go.

Re: ipsec tunnel

I have done a little more research and my understanding is that ipsec isn't routing. That its based on policy, it doesn't create virtual interfaces that are added to a route table.

Re: hotspot routing

That is good to know, but it still doesn't work. The problem wasn't with resolution. The problem is that when I hit a page from the hotspot network, it will just sit there saying "waiting for xxx....".

The MARS wifi works fine though.

Re: isolate hotspot from office lan

No its not on the same switch, I have a wireless access point plugged into ether3-hotspot.

I ran the hotspot setup and specified ether3 as the interface to use.

The hotspot works the way I want but I can't let hotspot people into my office lan.

Thanks,
