Hello Experts,

I am using CRS326-24G-2S+ as switch, and want to block multicast traffic, do I have to use SwitchOS, or can I do this over RouterOS?

Thank you.

Increasing traffic

Hello Experts,

We have a PPPoE server which has a traffic of 950Mb, its a CCR1036, how can we upgrade the ports? what is advisable for Mikrotik? Bonding or is there anything else to use to combine traffic.

Thank you.

Hello,

I have VPLS link between routers and I get packet drops, the usual ping might come back with 2 drops in 1,000 pings, when we use cisco rapid ping i get more errors, how can i check with Mikrotik packet drops? the fiber connecting these routers has no drops.

There is no NAT on ipv6, so you cannot nat that single IP you get from ISP, the ISP needs to route a /64 or better range to your router then you can configure that range to the pcs behind the router. I am not sure if there are any other way where you can connect the pc directly with ipv6.

for the AS no, you need to ask Arin, they would issue you an AS no, which should not take that long. The provider might be able to give you a private AS no. that should not take time as well.

Re: static route

currenty mikrotik is setup as brigde, but i want to change this to router, so i have less bridge and more control on mikrotik !

So i want to move the IP on the router, to the Mikrotik customer interface. and put a /27 to connect router and mikrotik.
