According to my understanding, when creating a simple-queue, if you do not specify limit-at (worst-case speed) then it will not be used. But in winbox it shows limit-at as 'unlimited'. I second that. If it must be for ROS5 as that's the new official version, so be it, but we'll love to have this option regardless.
All our hotspots are on total bytes limit and a pain is the ... to constantly lookup usage for control-freak clients.

Hopefully 5.2 will fix this. 5.1 is sooo 5 minutes ago, we're waiting in anticipation for 5.2 so we can upgrade hotspots with WDS to ROS5

depends if you want it below or above. :-)
Do a spectral scan and see if higher or lower is clearer. (If you have a card that supports it.)
/interface wireless spectral-history interface_name range=5ghz
Or do a scan if you can't do the spectral thing.

You can think of it as of improved nstreme.
Does that mean NV2 will also have packet aggregation into frames (framing policy terminology?) as NStreme does?

For PTP link with 2XR52HN cards & dual pol dish antennas, which will be better throughput: NStreme or NV2?

How do I limit users uptime with new UM?
I tried to create a profile with limitations of eg. 10h but in user screen, it still says 'unlimited uptime'

Edit: I'm convinced that the whole profile thing is not yet 100%. Sometimes if I make changes, then it only shows in UM if I log off/on again.

Re: Is it true that legends PCC working well than NTH?

If I set connection-state=new (not in wiki?) then it seems to give me also fast downloads. Two banking sites work ok so far, waiting for the one that usually gives a problem to come online.

Re: Is it true that legends PCC working well than NTH?

I tried PCC as per the wiki, over 6 lines and I'm not happy so far. I used per-connection-classifier=both-addresses but then ALL traffic to an address-pair goes through one line. I can download 3 different files from the same website, each with 4 connections (download manager)and all those connectio...

pppoe-client MTU/MSS mangle

RB133C and ROS 4

I've upgraded one of about 40 RB133C's still at clients and it is rebooting when under load, e.g. running torch, loading traffic logs via http and then logging into the API. Even just torch from winbox cause it to reboot. I've uninstalled all packages but advanced, dhcp, routerboard, system, securit...

Re: Is it true that legends PCC working well than NTH?

I've been running Nth for about 2 years now over at first 4 lines and now over 6. Just have to force https (port 443, 8443 traffic) to go over 1 WAN then all is fine. I also have a dst-address list for a few websites that do not use https but need persistent IPs to work. That means that all banking ...
