Re: Router periodically crashed totally until powercycle

Definitely it's no DDOS, it's on our internal network and i see nothing special in our cacti graphs or on our other exits from the network.

Router periodically crashed totally until powercycle

Hi at all, we use Mikrotik CCR Routers for OSPF Core Routing in our DC environment since years now. A few days ago one of this boxes (a CCR1009) reboots with a watchdog message twice and after a third reboot box never came buck until we removed and plugged in again the power cord. The interesting th...

RB450 - supply voltage 10-28VDC

Hello, we noticed, that the actualhw-revision of the RB450 is not working with power voltages greater than 21-22V. This is a very large problem at our transmission stations because we use 24V industrial power supplies with buffer batteries to prevent outages. Our systemvoltage is exactly 27,4 to 27,...

RB1200 ROS 5.0 - up to 5.5 - randomly reboots (BGPv4 and v6)

Hi @ All we use a RB1200 as BGP Corerouter and noticed, that the board reboot randomly about once a day. We also contacted MT Support and they pleased us to wait for version 5.5 (but that didn't help so far) Yesterday evening I replaced the board with a new RB1200 and today it started to reboot. Can...

Re: SCSI and SAS support in RouterOS

We have also lots of HP Proliant Servers with Smart Array Controllers inside. If you need some tryouts or drivertests for the Smart Array Series we can help out with some time and hardware (-: Today I am at a school with abaout 4500 pupils to implement traffic optimization on base of mikrotik but th...

MLPPP between two MT Routers using 3xSDSL and a Housing ISP

Hi@all I am not new to networking, but new to mikrotik products. Is it possible to take 2 RB493 Routers (one at the office and one in a housing center) and connect them over 3 different SDSL Lines using MLPPP ? The goal of this is one virtual "big pipe" between our office and the internet ...
