Did u try 6.19 with mcs 12 ?

I use to run from 2 years the mcs fixed at 10 and 12 on 40 km link. 100% ccq. 120 Mb peack.
I want to change it with AC board, but 6.19 seems changed the way to set the fixed mcs rate.

Normis,
I noted 6.19 has changed mcs ht user interface in winbox on AC devices when I set fixed data rate.
Could you kindly address me how new User Interface works?
Before was with check box and able to set single mcs rate, now is a drop down box showin from 0-9, 0-8, 0-7.

Thanks.

I have found the same challange.
I have seen no one answered btw.

I'm thinking
subnet with private ip for each interface
each interface with own dhcp server
each interface in a single bridge
bridge filter to block traffic from each interface (needed to separate each dhcp)
on ip public on bridge.

From the routerboard manual the max total power consumption is 14 W comprensive of mPCI cards.

Your 48V / 0.6A provide 28W (P=V*I).
It is double of what you need.

I suggest to use 48V POE.
I planned to use it for my new network based on RB.

Ok I tried and it is perfect.
Only one issue I need to add 256 IP and I have not found a procedure to add multiple IP address to an interface. Is there a way?

But with MikroTik RouterOS being so poerful, you could do it the ordinary way and directly route the Internet and your LAN. This is if your LAN has the internet real IP addresses set. If you don't want to reconfig all puters in the LAN and set them IP addresses than what you're trying to do seems r...

I think one big difference is that PPPOE connection is encripted and Hotspot not. (Cmit correct me if I'm wrong). I think that the better solution is to provide login with http method and encription as PPPOE connetion, but I'm understanding that the MK does not provide this. Another interessant disc...

Use packet sniffer to identify the Skype, msn and Yahoo protocols instead to destination address and mark the routing in prerounting.
