Re: IP address column missing in static DNS page in webfig/winbox

On winbox / tools / advanced mode enabled, open your device after select session <none> I am already in advanced mode. I have the same problem in webfig (firefox or chrome) and winbox. Here is a screenshot of my DNS static page with the missing IP field: Screenshot_20211012_093948.png

IP address column missing in static DNS page in webfig/winbox

Hello,

A year or two ago I noticed the IP address column wasn't showing anymore in the webfig/winbox static DNS page.
Am I the only one with that issue? The problem is still there for me in the latest update (6.48.2)

Is there a way to add the IP address column back?

Thanks!

Re: Port Mirroring on RB450G router

You might find that the port mirror is a function of the switch chip so you might need to add wan as a master-port for ether2 It doesn't make any difference, still no traffic on ether2: /interface ethernet print Flags: X - disabled, R - running, S - slave # NAME MTU MAC-ADDRESS ARP MASTER-PORT SWIT...

Port Mirroring on RB450G router

I have a simple router/NAT setup on a 450G (routerOS v5.7): - ether1 (renamed to wan) connected to a cable modem - ether2-5 in a bridge on the LAN - NAT/masquerade between wan and LAN and some filtering rules I want to mirror wan to one of the LAN ports (ether2) to run an IDS (e.g. snort) so I ran r...

Tunneling non-HTTP (e.g. SSH) over ROS web proxy

Hi, Is it possible to use the routerOS proxy for tunneling non-http protocols like ssh? Here is a simple example with apache and proxytunnel: http://dag.wieers.com/howto/ssh-http-tunneling/ I've enabled the proxy in /ip proxy on port 8080 and created 2 access rules: 0 src-address=0.0.0.0/0 dst-host=...

Re: reverse proxy to connect to NATed ssh

Why can't you use port forwarding and rewrite the port?
Because I have several ssh servers behind the NAT and only 1 public IP address.

reverse proxy to connect to NATed ssh

Hi, I'm trying to set up a reverse proxy for ssh connections to my NATed servers (using ROS 3.23 on RB450G) - I can't use DNAT or port forwarding because I have only one public IP and I'd like to access my servers via a "standard" port (80 for example, as that's always accessible from corp...

Re: ssh tunnel to internal socks proxy -> crash

We will have to continue using Linux for this purpose. At least we had some adventurer spirit. :) tunnel mode will be fully disabled in next version of RouterOS as it should have been. Try to use other tunnel type is you need secure connection (PPTP for example) Well it's a shame, because ssh tunne...

pptp-server not pushing default gateway to clients?

Hi, Is there a way to make the pptp-server on RouterOS 3.23 push the default route gateway to pptp clients? The "Routes" option in ppp secrets seems to be for creating dynamic routes on the router itself, not the client. I am asking this because I am trying to access the pptp-server from a...

ssh tunnel to internal socks proxy -> crash

Hi, I use a RB 450G as my main router at home with RouterOS 3.23 and I'd like to use its socks proxy server through the ssh management interface. The typical scenario is using my home network as a proxy for firefox when I'm away from home, without having to leave the socks proxy server open to the p...
