Re: Openvpn client add wrong route

Im having a issue with ovpn as well, when the client connects its getting a /24 address range instead of a /31, it seem to be a issue only on v6.40.3 and above

Do you have any graphing of data throughput when your customers are complaining, post it on here and it would make it a lot easier to give you the right advice

Re: RB750UP poe disconnect on solar site

you can install circuitry to stabilize voltage provided for the router. That, in most cases, will resolve RB750UP turning off power on ports.
Is it possible to get the new release of the OS to make the voltage drop detection for overloads optional?

Im using snmp to monitor and record the voltage on my server so putting in circuitry to stabilize the voltage would defeat the purpose

Re: 900 mhz

900mhz should be a last resort, Ive used it for links upto 7km non line of site, but the frequency is noisy so there a high jitter rate, and if the bandwidth is limited like it is in New Zealand you can only use a 5mhz channel and it limits it to about 7mbs max in the best condition's with a xr9 poi...

RB750UP poe disconnect on solar site

Ive got a 12v solar site where im using the RB750UP to power 3 device as well as monitor the voltage, when the solar is charging and the voltage is varying the RB750UP drops all the poe connections, Ive found the article in the wiki about the overload disconnect, With new firmware after overload is ...

Re: Eoip over 2x adsl bonding speed

Use ovpn tunnels instead of eoip tunnels, ovpn keeps the mtu t0 1500

User Manager 3.30 download limiting/queues

Ive just upgraded to OS3.30 Mipsbe on a RB493 and the download limits/queues for my pppoe customers dont seem to be working. Ive gone over all the configs and they all seem ok. I downgraded to OS3.28 to see if it would fix it but made no difference. Anyone have any ideas?

EnGenius EPI-3601S detection problem?

Im using the old compaq deskpro pc's running Mikrotik OS 3.13 on them as a cpe, and they dont seem to pick up the EnGenius EPI-3601S wireless card. I dont have a problem with d-link or netgear cards but i need the extra power for the longer links
