Re: IPsec with overlappting subnet setup

Thanks for the link. I added a src-nat rule, but not sure if I did it correctly. chain - src-nat src-nat address - 192.168.1.0/24 action - netmap to address - 10.90.122.0/24 I placed this rule at the top of my nat rules with my masquerade below it. Not sure which order it should be in. My masquerade...

IPsec with overlappting subnet setup

I am currently setting up an IPsec tunnel, but on my end I have the same subnet as another customer on another end. The guy that is wanting me to set this up, wants me to use 10.90.122.0/24 as the natted lan for the ipsec. My router: WAN - xxx.xxx.xxx.1 LAN - 192.168.1.0/24 He is using a Sonicwall r...

Marking packets as dscp cs3 and cs4

I'm needing to do VoIP priority for some hosted phones (Astra 6757i) and I'm needing to mark them by using DSCP cs3 and cs4. I'm fairly new to QoS so I'm not quite sure where I need to do this at.. I know it's in /firewall/mangle but as far as the option for setting it to cs3 and cs4 I'm not sure. A...

Re: Setting up Aastra sip phones behind Mikrotik 450G

Went back through and tested this router with our phones at the office Friday and everything was working fine so we decided to give this another shot. Went out to customer location and changed it over. At first it looked like everything was working and then the problem started up again. I DID howeve...

Re: Setting up Aastra sip phones behind Mikrotik 450G

They are currently using an adtran router, but since we had issues I had to put it back in place. I brought the mikrotik back to the office to set up to our phones and today 2 phones are working fine being plugged up at the same time. I haven't added or changed anything.

They are set to use dhcp. I've checked the dhcp lease to make sure they were pulling a different one and they are.

Re: Setting up Aastra sip phones behind Mikrotik 450G

Thank you for the reply. The phones are being power by a poe switch that plugs into a normal switch. I'm not quite sure what option 66 is, but this router is set up to do pppoe on ether1, hands out dhcp on ether2. I have a src-nat rule to give the private network internet access and that is basicall...

Setting up Aastra sip phones behind Mikrotik 450G

I'm wanting to change out a router for a customer to a mikrotik so I can have it also run their vpn server. I'm having an issue though when I plug more than one Aastra 6757i phone in they will all show no service. The layout of their network goes from the Mikrotik on ether2 which is handing out DHCP...

Bonding questions

I've been playing around with bonding and have taken a look at the routeros manual to get info on how to set it up. For the most part the manual helps. Where I'm having the issue though is I'm not doing it with 2 routers (2 office networks) and no need for the EoIP tunnel. I'm just simply wanting to...

Re: OSPF Ignoring Link State Acknowledgment..

Re: Setting up IP Tunnel

Thanks. I'm probably going to have to get them on the phone and go through with it while I set it up on my side. I will ask them about violation of law though. I'm sure since they are requiring this tunnel be set up they know about it already, but better safe than sorry. Thanks again!!

Then it might be IPsec. When I talked to them on the phone they were asking about my settings for encryption on the tunnel make sure I have my side matching theirs.

Port Forwarding help

I've been doing routerOS for about 10 months so a lot of is still new to me but i'm needing help forwarding some ports. I'm not really sure how to do it. The ports i'm needing forwarded are 3724, 6112, and 6881-6999. These ports are the ports blizzard downloader uses for the world of warcraft patches.
