Are you on a 10 mhz channel with wireless_fp? 20mhz channel seems to be fine but 10mhz is not good. I went back to the regular package and things improve a lot. You should have no problems. Attenuation should be minimal and as it is a short link you will have plenty of power to over come any losses. Normally things like glass and plastics of various types have very low losses at these frequencies, the only caveat being is some specialized materials may cont...

Correct. Use with caution with point to multi point setups, as all other radios are not being accessed for the time of the burst. If you set the burst to 1 second you will have at least a 1 second latency before the next radio is sent data. Using Nstreme will likely provide better results.

Re: effect of disabling burst-time

Burst time will allow continuous transmission for the set duration. Not so bad on a P2P but can cause problems on P2MP as no other radios can communicate until the transmission is complete. This could cause latency issues and enable some clients to "hog" the AP traffic at the expense of ot...

It sounds like most of the issues are hidden node related. 802.11abg are contention base protocols and as such will not degrade gracefully, that is why you hit your 7mb or so and things grind to a halt. Typically you will hit that wall between 10-20 users (traffic load dependent) There are 2 ways ar...

RB 133 don't really have enough power to run Nstreme, so I would not consider it. The are really should only be used for customer radios or light traffic links.
