Re: Very specific v6.34rc20 - will not upgrade a bunch of my RB4xx units - about 30+/-

Hi Normis!

The main problem with upgrading
from RC20 is the kernel failure. It does
not matter if you upload the combined
upgrade package as you still get kernel
error on reboot if the wireless interface
is included in a bridge.

I would be more concerned about which modem to use rather the size.

Some modems fit inside the box together with the RB itself if you use an USB extention and make a small hole, but I think it's
better just to use a outside small box with an USB extention cable.

if you added dynamic/static and added a bridge under the WDS tab the wds in the wireless settings

Re: 802.11n

Sure you can do it in winbox......

First change to "Advanced Mode"

and then check "Configured" under the "Data Rates" tab

Now proceed as I described previously

Re: Usb port invalid

I can confirm this problem with E220 and ROS 4.6. A cold restart allwas has to be followed by a Reboot

Re: WDS problem colubris

It turned out that Colubris isn't compatible with MT WDS

The solution was to make a WDS slave with the Colubris
