Hi Sten

the normal user use 255.255.255.0 netmask the PPPoE by default are with 255.255.255.255
i don't think that MT support netmask change for PPPoE

Transfer between PPPoE and normal users

Very strange situation , for example: I have users using PPPoE connection to my MTrouter and user using internet the old fashion way, they have public IPs and internet access but they can’t transfer any data between them.
Any ideas ?

I wish to write theresult from a script to file. I have net-monitorimg script and I whant to put the result in a web page but MT don't support custom web. if I have the data in the file I can get file and display it on the web.

PCQ is what you need to share bandwidth among users. see wiki and manual.
veri good advice but if uoy planing to share bandwidth among 10 or more people you must consider PC with CPU 500Mghz or more

hi all
I use PPPoE last 2 months and all work fine but i have problem with bandwidth control, i have 2 diferent types of speeds, internet and local , any ideas how to dynamic generate simple queues rules every time when user connects to the server ?

very often i need to start some scripts from specific time to another specific time - for example - every day from 18:00 to 23:00
unfortunately i can do this with MT - please add this schedule improvment :)

Hi all
i what to make nstreme but with LAN adapters
i have 4 wireless bridge devices and i whan to use them to build point to point connection and using one for sending and one for receiving on each side of the point to point connection.
Unfortunately nstreme don't work with LAN adapters
any ideas ?

I think what he meant was something like the "top" command in Linux (which RouterOS is based on, after all). This is showing which process is using how much CPU time (and memory, ...) right now. no system resources detail LOAD - you can see which process use CPU and Memory resources more. every 3 hours CPU load on my router start raiseing to 100% and no way to catch why. try with torch - no strange traffic and no viruses, packets per second are around 1500-2000 like always. this problem app...
