Hotpsot question

I have ROS 2.9.30 installed and setup the hotpsot but I want that user acces the tftp server without geting loged in, I could do that using 2.8.26 just adding a few rules on forward chain but that seems not to work on 2.9.x anynone now a hay to do this .

Can you post what signal strengh, do you have with clients. your ap load your wireless configuration also have you tried different frame policy it works different in different scenaraios.

Thanks for your reply, this was a prove that I had taken right steps and just not been lucky and get some non quality LMR - 400 :oops: which has been screawed by the time mostly 6 months, and that had make me a lot of hadache .

I am seeing a lot of inter-client traffic. Now this traffic is normally net bios and windows networking traffic. Is these a way to block this at AP?

Yes this an be achived seting the
default forward=off
and in the access list set it of too for client .

If you want to make an PTP link with mirktoik then you can set one side on bridge and other side on station, then in access list you can tell who to connect or not.

I have about 3 ptp 40+km running with mikrotik cm9 and r52 and with singnal -82 I am able to pass 10Mbps and, 50 clients in urban area in quit noisy ambient working good with rb532 as AP and R52 cards .

If you mean the teletronics radio, I had before some CPE from teltetronics which where based on Prism radio and they worked, they get associated but I had to set the 802.1x mode = PEAP-MSCHAPV2 hope that this would help .

I had the same problem and it was worng configured nat if you have public ip addresses than you should create a rule and accept the ip subnet .

I have to make a backahul link over 20 km , one site is in the tower in the top of mountain and other site in the city what should I use to make this link work hardware can I use rb 500 , antennas that I should use ect.

I don't if it is anyway that could lock the chanel 5 or likle this but can you see any device operating in this chanel maybe another ap does any of clients get asocieted or none of them and try cahnging the ap that operates in channel 1 to 5 and this one to 1 .

in 2.8.x I have tried the most scenarios that are posible two ethernet , ethernet and wireless seperate setup and bridge two interfaces and setup the hotspot in bridge interface itself and worked perfect expect in 2.8.4 which slow down everything, in 2.9 I haven't tried with more then one interface.
