probably you want protocol=tcp
my guess ports 8100 and 8200 are firewalled in servers.

I don't think it matters which vpn you want to use with a dynamic dns. You just need a script, that regularly checks if the remote dynamic ip has changed, and then edits the config. please check mikrotiks hard disk, it might be reaching its limit already, i had the same problem,i had to remove dude and it freed a lot of memory and it worked fine.

I finally solved it, blocking only the port is not enought , so I added the dst address:209.85.229.125, blocked port 443 and 5222 and it gtalk is not working anymore.. I had to remove the L7 filter for jabber and gtalk since it didnt help.

you don't need to use Netinstall. Upgrade can be done by simple drag-and-drop to Winbox Files window. Download the new RouterOS package NPK file, drag it to Files window, and reboot the router.

I was able to setup mikrotik but still I cant connect, here's what i did, i set the ip address on ether1(WAN)as 192.168.2.1/24,ether2 as 192.168.1.1/24 ,default gateway(ip add of my router) 192.168.2.1,dns server=dns of my ISP, is there anything i missed?

how to setup mikrotik as a firewall

I will be using mikrotik as a firewall, Im planning to make this setup,
modem-mikrotik(firewall)-router-switches-computer. Any other suggestions? Cause I will also block some websites and put some restrictions on our internet access. Thank you.
