You´re most probably using the wrong classifier (src/dst swapped) for your queue.
Try to swap the classifiers, or post you config.

Re: IP redirection but translated?

You could do this with NAT of course, but i wouldn´t recommend doing so. I´d let the router do the job by simply adding an IP to both interfaces (like you already did). Then add a static route to 10.202.100.0 for your clients somewhere (at the clients or at your default gw) and do the same for the p...

Yes it does; But the biggest issue (at least in our case) was the hash-algorithm.
We got 3 times the throughput by switching from sha1 to md5.
Maybe this will help in your case too.

Re: RB1100 is powerful enough to connect to 1 Gb/s and BGP?

Hi asterisco, We´re pushing ~400Mbit/s BGP through a RB1100AH with 50% max load; But without conntrack and therefore without firewalling - generally this costs a lot of resources... I´m guessing it should work flawlessly with RB1100AH X2; To be 100% safe you could go for a AS1000 Series (sorry Mikro...

Re: IP issues

If you bridge the interfaces, there won´t be any routing in place; Why do you need the RB450 then? You could simply use the Cisco Switch alone. If you want the RB450 as a transparent packet filter, just remove both IPs on the Interfaces and assign an address on the bridge interface. Additionally you...

1. Yep
2. We´re using them as transparent QOS-System; Therefore we´re able to bypass the box in case something goes wrong...
3. No
4. Yep
5. I could; But simply said our 1100s is tranparent between our Network and the Customer Net. So switching to bypass simply disables QOS

Hope that helps.

Yes, i´d recommend setting the interface instead of the local IP in rule 10.

Anyway i just noticed, that your rule should work (according to the packet flow diagram in the wiki).
I just tried on my own and it works.

Does it work, if you remove your final drop rule (Nr. 11)?

Filtering is done before NAT; Meaning you have to use a filter-rule like this: 10 ;;; allow public services chain=forward action=accept protocol=tcp in-interface=ether1 dst-port=80,443 or 10 ;;; allow public services chain=forward action=accept protocol=tcp dst-address=YOUR-WAN-IP dst-port=80,443

Hi,

You have to add a "dstnat" Rule for your destination port 3389 at the NAT Tab and select action "dst-nat" and your internal IP as "to-address".

No, its always better to use switching if possible, as long as you don´t need firewall rules etc. between the ports.
With switching enabled you always have wirespeed between the swiched ports;
Bridging takes some CPU-Power.
