Can you downgrade 6.0 to 5.25 using xmodem? I tried by interupting the boot, sent the upgrade package for 5.25 over xmodem but it complained about invalid upgrade id or similar. You should be able to downgrade with hyperterm. I'd recommend 5.24 not 5.25... I had a similar issue (Ethernet flopping )...
If it ain't broke don't fix it... I was fine with 5.24 on my P2P 411s until updated to 5.25. Connection was lost frequently and there was a message like "too long to be polled..." or something.. Downgraded to 5.24 and everything came back right. It looks like it was another "non-deter...
Update: It looks like Teamspeak as well as some other traffic were just triggering the port flap. The problem was firmware 2.29 that I had so far. Took the router down replaced old 560 μF capacitors with new 680μF and updated to firmware 2.41. Note that I took the risk of updating to RB411's 2.41 wh...
Try to upgrade your RB411A as described in Wiki article: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Bootloader_upgrade In Winbox 'System/Routerboard' you should see latest available firmware for your RB. HTH, This is what I exactly did to get rid of 2.29. Yet, latest version in routerboard site for RB411A is 2....

No time to go deeper but, what happens if teamspeak, while stream...
I had the same problem on my RB411. It just appeared a few days ago after 3 years of normal (Ethernet at list) operation. After some research I discovered that the problem was triggered by teamspeak (http://www.teamspeak.com) installed on a pc by my son (I have a P2P connection). From what I underst...
No, it is just the name http://www.calamp.com/products/mmds-transceivers/parabolic-antenna-assemblys/parabolic-antennas The only thing is that the antennas are "QLP" (Quasi Log Periodic) which I'm not sure of what this stands for. The fact is that they have an outstanding performance with ...
Just for the history, I used to have an Aironet BR500 hooked up on one side and Aironet UC4800 11mbps on the other. Their performance was excellent on those antennas. I had to abandon them to increase throughput and number of PCs networked (UC4800 supported only one PC) . I've been straggling ever s...

Since I haven't got any replies in my previous post, I decided to provide a "before" and "after" of what I'm trying to configure. I want to remind that Cisco 1310 cannot be replaced and that Cisco wireless products cannot operate as Bridges without the proprietary Aironet extenti...
