Re: Switch with 3 SFP+ port

You should consider a Layer-3 instead a Layer-2 backbone. With Layer-2 and RSTP one of your 10Gig links will allways be blocked. When you use a Layer-3 backbone with OSPF Routing all your links will run and if you want to transport Layer-2 traffic you can use VPLS, EoIP,... Instead using a Layer-2 S...

Re: OID of total CPU usage on CCR

This OID is new since software version 6.34 available.
I´m using it on several CCR and it works, but I have no
experience with this OID on x86 ROS, it should work.

Re: Maximum number of NAT users / sessions

Perhaps I do not understand your post... If you mean "for each" there are 32767 ports for tcp and 32767 ports for udp = 65534 ports If you mean "for both" there are 32767 ports for tcp & udp together So, if it is 32767 ports for both and I have more than 50.000 connections @ ...

Re: Maximum number of NAT users / sessions

If there are only 32767 ports at RouterOS for NAT and I have only one public IP for NAT, why I have more then 50.000 connections?
This router is only doing NAT and routing...
I will look at this the next days.

Re: Maximum number of NAT users / sessions

65500 is about the maximum number of session per single NAT IP (in general your public IP). If you need to do more sessions, make shure you have more IP's to do NAT on. This means I need multiple public IPs and for each one NAT rule? Internal IP range for user 10.10.0.0/18 = 10.10.0.2 -10.10.63.254...

Maximum number of NAT users / sessions

If i understand it right, the maximum number of NAT sessions is limited by the number of connections at IP-> Firewall-> Connections -> Max. Entries. This value depends on installed amount of RAM and the maximum entry amount can increase if situation demands it and router still has free ram left. So ...

Re: CCR1036-8G-2S+ issue bonding SFP+ ports

Did you set up the LAG with 802.ad (LACP) on both ends? Yes, but now I have give up and have re-configured it as acive/standby bonding on the MikroTik. 10Gig is enough bandwith in the moment, I wanted to have an interface backup based on the channel and to use both. I will try it again to make such...

Re: CCR1036-8G-2S+ issue bonding SFP+ ports

Can it be that this phenomenon depends on different configurations?
No, the configuration and software version is identical. I will now clear the configuration and
also install the software again. But I will take the 6.6 or 6.7, the 6.10 have realy some problems/bugs.

Re: OID of total CPU usage on CCR

Dear plisken, with your OID (.1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.1) you get ONLY the load of core 0 of the CPU! But the CCR has 36 of them... So, if you want to have the total load over all 36 cores, you have to mesure each of them, add up all the values an divide the sum with 36. /system resource cpu> pri oid ...

Re: OID of total CPU usage on CCR

Dear MikroTik Team,

ist there something happening with a OID for the sum/total CPU usage?
I will install the next CCRs this week and will now have a total of 22 and still
have no useful solution how to trigger the CPU usage.

Please Help!

Best Regards

Re: CCR1036-8G-2S+ issue bonding SFP+ ports

How to make throughput tests, when the ports leaves and enters into the LACP channel?
Also a ping is not working.

It is very strange that two CCR1036-8G-2S+ does not have this problem and other two
have it.

Re: OID of total CPU usage on CCR

Dear Mat, I´m also searching for an CCR CPU OID for the total usage of all 36 cores, but unfortunalely didn´t found it. I have 8 core systems based on x86 hardware by meconet and the PRTG SNMP tool. In this case I have created for each core one sensor and one additional factory sensor. In this facto...

High CPU utilization on Router by Dude SNMP requests

Hi, on some Routers I have a high CPU utilization at management and SNMP (see attached picture). This problem started with the 5.x ROS, but it is also possible since the 4.17 ROS, I´m not realy shure. I´ve tried Dude 4.0beta2 and 4.0beta3 but it is still the same. I can see constantly SNMP traffic b...
