2 x 20MHz channels for PtP,
6 x 10MHz channels for PtMP, as you only want <=2mbps.
Plan your cells carefully and beware of ghost frequencies when using 5/10MHz.

Routed is best!
You may even tunnel the client into the core.
Use OSPF for failover/loadbalance on the PtP.

As the XR cards have only one ant connector, setting should be same as SR cards using MMCX.
There is another post about XR2 and MT 2.9.xx, is it related to your trial?

Re: route p2p link instead of wds-bridge

NO!
It's not a regular "bridge", its a tunnel.
It will bridge your IP net so you may use PPPoE, i.e. you will have two ethernet endpoints terminated into your PPPoE client and server.

Take a look at the diagrams in the manual for other tunnels, the networks are still ROUTED!

@Gerard Your trial suggests that the APs ("with same name") are process one after the other, hence the unused APs, this may be a good thing for those having this problem. Its a good idea to set max-station-count=xx I hope it tells the AP to stop listening to further associations. The maual...

Re: Atheros client re-association problem - VAP solution?

Anyway I have 39 clients connecting to this ap.. When I disable and reenable the master interface to make all of the clients reconnect, some of the virtual AP's have 3 clients while others have none.. 15 VAP + AP = 16 APs with 3 stations each = 48 you only need 13APs (39/3), so 3APs will be unused....

Atheros client re-association problem - VAP solution?

... the idea of Virtual AP to limit 10 clients per SSID, so 2 or 3 VAPs with 10 clients each should do. Requires Atheros AP and at least RB500. Your SAT provider should be able to help.

Create a tunnel (via FO) to SAT provider, this will be for upstream, OR get an IP from SAT provider and use it as your source (out interface) IP (so the only route back will be via SAT DVB).

Downstream via DVB IP (set by SAT provider)

you may then route between interfaces or bridge them.
