lets assume it is true, but I am using the Giga ports! 1000 / 2 = 500Mbps, I only need 200 which I dont get.

Hello,First I was using ether1 as LAN and ether3 as WAN, I got max 50Mbps, Currently I am using port 5 (Giga) as WAN and port 6 (100) as LAN so far I have reached 90Mbps. not perfect but better than my first experiment. looks like ether1 is kind of limited!

if I do what you have suggested, basically I am blocking the in-WAN pockets, and if I use connection mark I block both ways, what if I only want to block only out-WAN?

it does not have firewall, I can ping it if I connect a pc on the same interface (Lan1), every computer which has 192.168.2.x ip can ping it, but not from another interface, I think there must be configuration to tell wlan0 that lan1 exists, I have no luck so far

Thanks for the reply, so why when I do a bandwidth test using mikrotik's tool, I get 10Mb/s TCP and about 15Mb/s UDP.. this is why I am asking about it..

hello, I testing some CPE connection with MT 4.3 RB433AH, I get CCQ 100% but when I start transfer data it starts with 100% CCQ then in a few seconds it goes near 20% CCQ with low transfer rate, is it normal? what is exactly CCQ is?

last conclusion, INTERNET to RB-WAN is OKAY , RB-WAN to CPE is OKAY , INTERNET to CPE is NOT OKAY!! something wrong with the R433 although it is very new!

Old man, what is the distance between the base point and the antenna client?

others, I use 8db omni and directional 14db for less thank 1Km and I get 40db!! not good. Should I buy better antennas?

Thanks for help, I decided to ge rid of the amplifier and to configure the AP as client.

now, I am using amni 8db base station with 14db directional, when I try the site servey I get 30db signal, is it okay? what is the minimal signal I can have to get it work?

I got it!! it was the beta! I was using the v.4 beta, I switched to 3.29 then it worked!!!

your wireless card also won't work, because it's not an Atheros chipset.

R6061 is a USB controller, afaik...

no, you cannot add your own drivers to RouterOS

maybe, look at '/system resource pci print'...

I think I have figured out the problem, when I did '/system resource pci print' I got LAN card "R6061 USB 2.0" so it is an onboard RTL8100B on USB! is it the problem?
