HI,
I have network with local and live ip addresses and i wanted to hide my any network ip while my users trace route from any local network to global ip address like 8.8.8.8. I wanted to skip 1 hop in my network and jump traceroute packet to next hop. How can i do this.

Thanks for reply,
We are target of this attacks and we dropped in/out port on which attack came. But problem is that we drop/reject this attack our bandwidth utilization reached full and channel got choked.

Hi,
We are facing DDoS Attack Using SSDP on mikrotik router. These are SSDP amplification DDoS attack and we try our best to stop but failed. Can anybody help us to, How we can stop these attacks and prevent such attacks in future.

Dear All,

I have 4-5 Core routers(Mikrotik) and created log with syslog on remote syslog server. Presently all the routers logs written in single file on remote server. How can i create different log file for different Mikrotik router on remote syslog server.

This script test BGP sessions and if not established if send mail, but If BGP was down more then horn then it send so many mails. how to prevent this type of situation and script only send mail once.

Dear All,

I am using BGP with 2-3 peer with RB1100AHx2. I want to monitor BGP session. Is it possible to monitor with nagios or grate graphs with cacti so the we can keep log of BGP up/down.

Hi janisk,

But if i have 300GB HDD and i install mikrotik on it then i cant use my HDD i.e proxy caching or any other use. Is there any other option to utilize that HDD free space without effecting mikrotik preformance

it is sycn with ntp server .but the problem is that when it rebooted it show the 1970 date and time, so i can't get the date and time of reboot or power failure .

Its works . But when Rb reboot and come back it display jan/01/1970 and after that it display the correct time. I think when rebooted it lost the NTP connection and when it connect with AP it got sync with NTP server.

Any ways thanx for suggestion.

Each RB has the internet access on ehternet port but not on wlan
i m not able to ping ntp server directly and only ping by giving source address(ehternet that is live) in advanced tab.
