Okay.. i dunno if it's a bug but i've serious problems with advertising my networks on 3.30: I announce a /22 and a /23 to my nexthop peer.. it works.. For some load balancing between all my peers, i'm splitting those /22 in /24 networks. On 3.24 it works.. on 3.30 it doesnt... my provider reiceves...

You're making me worried! What version have you tested this filtering with? If you exlcude the route bgp crash bug that may affect you (which is not ipv6 related though), ROS 3.27 works fine with ipv6. I already posted the results with TCP :D
Nstream seems to be stable, but TCP traffic performance is not exciting as UDP ones.
Topped at 78/80 Mbps HDX no matter of the boards, way we measured and setup..

full duplex UDP traffic generated from external boards test-n5-100mbit-offboard.JPG A couple of notes... tried to load balance the traffic, on external boards, by bonding two ethernet and avoiding the single ethernet 100mbps limit of FE. Traffic gets balanced equally, but still tops at 100mbps total...

This may not be the place to make a board suggestion, but it would be nice to have a gigE port option on 400 series routers for the 802.11n that is now supported. :D that's why we make the RB600 Normis, isn't the RB433AH supposed to have a faster cpu then the RB600? generally speaking my experience...

as far i know, you are running dual stacked, but enabling this in advanced. the only thing different is that there is one BGP session both for ipv4 and ipv6. on my junos and cisco IOS i can't run 2 sessions to the same router with the same id eather... I can't tell how to do that on IOS and Junos, ...

Yes I use 40Mhz channels/a.k.a turbo :) / I've got approximately 48Mbps and that by my vision is not just pretty much..it's better than I expected. My boards are rev.1 so ..one of the "old ones" as the seller said. The "55mpbs" board i was mentioning are probably the first rb333 i got.. i'm not sure what revision are, but are surely one of the "old" ones I've got upto 25 bwtest and in real test not much than 33/34...

Hi, just my two cents... one of our main links is running up to 60Mbps. Signal is not good enough to reach solid 54Mbs*2 negotiation, and is running rc6 Bandwith test on this link (tcp) reported speed is 42Mbps one way.. still when in production it runs from 55 to 60 Mbps (it's "cut" to 55...

i cannot confirm that, for me mac telnet is working as expected, check configuration, is /tool mac-server configuration ok?
No problem with mac-telnet here too, both with v.3 and 2.9.x devices. Tried both on ethernet and wireless.

You may try to find Windows box or run with VMware to run netinstall,
I think it should be cheaper rather than buy new license (especialy when you can avoid it).

Equis, i don't exactly rember where it is, but you should find somewhere (either in the filters or peer options) a prepend option.. set a value, it will be used as the times your as is prepended into the announced as path (never used it, but i rebemer it was explained somewhere)..

here is what I use that works - maybe it's the prefix length that needs to be set ?
I think he's announcing ok, if it was filtered the prefix wouldn't appear in the announcements.. @ubb: can you ask your upstream to send you a list of what receives from you?

I'll try setting nexthop-choice to force-self and see what that does. What exactly does this do for me?
sets the nexthop for the peer, so that the routes can be seen as reacheable, else they won't propagate..

than 30 clients but someone else with an RB532 as AP without NStreme has +50 clients associated with no problems it does make you wounder why!

What does the 532 run at with 30 or so Nstreme customers? Any one running it on a 1ghz+ PC platform? I've seen a few posts from people using X86 Athlon based boards which show the same problem so don't think it's a CPU issue. I cannot comment on P-T-MP, but on P-T-P link the cpu definitely matters ...

This could indicate an MTU problem, try adjusting the MTU on you EoIP inteface to 1466 or even lower. Hotmail.com is a good place to test if your MTU is screwed, it wont show if its wrong.

Hi, i've just found that MT 2.9.28 uses around 25/26 memory on my 32 megs RB532, while 2.9.27 used an average of 15.

You can 'filter' the routes to set-nexthop= just like in the cisco. If they are getting ignored it might be a config issue with the peer and its filter chain.
