RB110AHx2 disk

Hi there,

I want to move from RB1000 to RB1100 or CCR. I've noticed that RB1000 and RB1100 series has very small system disk. Is there any possibility to upgrade RouterOS using external microSD on RB1100x2?

Thanks for your answer.
I'm using a dedicate DHCP server for hotspot's user so they don't need to change any settings on their client.
I will try to disable this rule and I will let you know if hosts on hotspot network can ping each other.

Hi there,

I've got an answer from Mikrotik.

Here is it:
The naming problem appears on RB1100 series and RB1200 boards when configuration is reset or clean RouterOS v5.18 is installed.
We are working to fix this for the next RouterOS version.

Re: set antenna-gain via script

It works If you pass IP statically.

Look at:
:local DNS1
:local DNS2
:local DNS3

:set DNS1 "208.67.222.222"
:set DNS2 "4.2.2.1"
:set DNS3 "208.67.220.220"

/ip dns set servers=$DNS1,$DNS2,$DNS3
xpected end of command at the first comma after $DNS1

If I use the central router as an hotspot, it will be also the default gateway for all wifi clients. So, each client will open browser and reach hotspot login page automatically (as they try to reach any URL). Is it correct?

Re: user manager with free hospot access

Hi nickb,

so you use your custom php page as a walled garden?
I guess that every time that one user connect to the network, is redirected to your PHP page and made the registration to FreeRADIUS.

So why is needed RouterOS?
