Hi and thanks for all your answers. My RB1000 had and uptime of 250 days. As I was experiencing disk problem I bought a new RB.
I turned off the old RB1000 and it doesn't boot anymore!
So maybe my problem was that RB1000 was slowly dying!

Re: Ubiquiti and Mikrotik VLANs

Hi,

I'm currently using RB750GL, RB751G-2HnD, RB951-2n and they're working very good.
If I will use the solutions you suggested I will increase the cost of my network, but I will search for a suitable antenna.
Is there any antenna you want to suggest me? And what Routerboard I have to choose?

If you mean the computers behind the hotspot can't communicate, then that can be corrected by disabling the hotspot nat.

Re: Hosts communitation on hotspot

Thanks for your answer.
I'm using a dedicate DHCP server for hotspot's user so they don't need to change any settings on their client.
I will try to disable this rule and I will let you know if hosts on hotspot network can ping each other.

Hi there,

I've got an answer from Mikrotik.

Here is it:
The naming problem appears on RB1100 series and RB1200 boards when configuration is reset or clean RouterOS v5.18 is installed.
We are working to fix this for the next RouterOS version.

Re: set antenna-gain via script

It works If you pass IP statically.

Look at:
:local DNS1
:local DNS2
:local DNS3

:set DNS1 "208.67.222.222"
:set DNS2 "4.2.2.1"
:set DNS3 "208.67.220.220"

/ip dns set servers=$DNS1,$DNS2,$DNS3
xpected end of command at the first comma after $DNS1
