Re: v6.40.6 [bugfix] is released!

*) route - improved reliability on routing table update; What was done to improve the reliability on the routing table updates? The reason why I ask is that we have been having issues with all routing crashing on ours. So we recently upgraded them to 6.40.6 but I want to know what was done to shed ...

Feature Request - simple queue created from RADIUS in DHCPv6

We have a 16000 subscriber WISP and we use DHCPv4 authenticated from RADIUS currently. Part of that is the MT sets the customer speeds based on profiles in RADIUS. When we move to IPv6, I fear we are going to lose that functionality. Would you guys at Mikrotik be able to implement that?

Re: CCR1072-1G-8S+ BGP Locking Up

Yes that was happening to me as well. I upgraded to 6.40.3 and it really didnt help. I swicthed most of my OSPF peers to point to point and that seems to have helped some.

CCR1072 watchdog reboot

We have several CCR1072s in our core and in the last 2 days we have had 2 watchdog reboots. one with the router on 6.38.5 and the other with the router on 6.39.2. What could be causing it and what should I do to prevent it in the future.

Feature request - Dude Google Earth Integration

has anyone ever thought about google earth integration in the dude? We have been putting the GPS location in our tower routers to help facilitate some kind of google earth overlay. But it would be great if it was in the dude package and if the dude was able to simply pull the gps location from the S...

DDOS Solutions?

What do you guys use for DDOS detection and mitigation? There are alot of solutions out there that range from free to literally $500k. I was wanting to know what you guys use and what experience you have had with different solutions.

Thank you

DDOS attack mitigation

We are a wireless ISP with about 8000 subs and we have gotten hit with quite a few DDOS attacks. Most of these have been initiated by someone attempting to boot one of our customers off of call of duty. We currently have CCR1072s at the core and I was wondering if anyone had an effective scripts for...

Feature Request: RADIUS authenticated DHCPv6 with Mikrotik-Rate-Limit attribute functional

We currently use RADIUS authenticated DHCPv4 in our network with the Mikrotik-Rate-Limit attribute setting the customers speeds and everything works great. But when it comes to IPv6, none of this functionality exists. Please add these features to an upcoming release, hopefully in the next few months.

Re: v6.0 released

hi
anybody else having the problem that ros 6.0 is showing higher voltages on the rbs
I am having the same issue. 5.25 vlans work fine. 6.0 vlans stop working. I run a packet capture and arp "who-has" packets come in tagged and arp "has" packets go out untagged.

MAC-Telnet does not work in RouterOS 3.10 on x86

I have upgraded all my major routers to 3.10 and now I cannot mac-telnet to them from each other like I was able to right before I upgraded them. I have also noticed that I can on routerboards on 3.10. Its just the x86 versions. Could someone please help?

Thank you,
Cinatus
