Re: /user/signup Error 404: Not found

I added the IP to the walled garden and changed the www service port to something different than 80 .. yet, I still receive Error 404. Anyone's got an idea how to tackle this one?

/user/signup Error 404: Not found

Hi fellas, I have a RBwAPGR-5HacD2HnD which works a treat up to the point, where users should be able to signup for the hotspot usage. The setup is: I have two VLANs configured, one for business and one for guests [admin@rb-kobalt-club] > /interface export # may/15/2020 22:41:08 by RouterOS 6.46.6 #...

Re: RB433 (IC Plus 175C chip) - VLAN on eth1 not working

regardless that I've seen it working with the DHCP client on the vlan interface rather than the bridge, i have followed your advice and put all DHCP clients on bridges. Enabling the vlan interfaces on ether1 leaves it numb, i.e. no DHCP address is being obtained. The most recent /export compact [adm...

Re: RB433 (IC Plus 175C chip) - VLAN on eth1 not working

I tried that too. but no success.
The moment I disable all VLAN interfaces (on ether1) a DHCP offer is being received on ether1 and normal Layer3 operations start.

RB433 (IC Plus 175C chip) - VLAN on eth1 not working

Hi, I have an (aged) RB433 and would like to utilize VLAN on eth1. The goal is to have 2 VAPs bridged to two VLANs on eth1. The switch chip (IC Plus 175C) which controls eth2 and eth3 does not support VLANs. [admin@MikroTik] > interface print Flags: D - dynamic, X - disabled, R - running, S - slave ...

Re: VLAN TRUNK over P2MP wireless

Okay, I tried and failed. As the AP has two VAPs running, I cannot change the mode of just a VAP as I have to change the real AP mode to bridge. But that's not feasible as I do need the ap-bridge mode for the second VAP. So, I followed http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Transparently_Bridge_two_Networks ...

yes, with pure cables this would not be a big deal on the switches. Understood. So on the AP end, I have 3 VLAN assigned to the Ether interface. Two of them need to go across this particular WDS link. Update: I am trying the Q-in-Q approach now, i.e. having only one (outer) VLAN going across the WDS link. But somehow, I cannot get it to work. Re: VLANs through PtMP link

No joy. Did not make any difference.

Note: I usually keep the IP on member-interface of the bridge which is closest to my main entry point/monitoring server, so if for some reason I have to remove the bridge I do not lose IP access.

VLANs through PtMP link

Hi, I have a working scenario where I have one access point and two stations. Each station is on it's own VLAN trunk'ed out only one ethernet interface at the AP side and let the switch behind handle the VLAN separation. This is done as widely explained via WDS and VLANs assigned to Bridges. However...

Re: eBGP routes all inactive due to gateway unreachable

Hi mrz,

this routing-filter gateway assignment might be my solution. Can you provide me an example or put me in the right direction please?

I tried
add chain=bgp-in prefix=0.0.0.0/0 set-out-nexthop=111.69.16.214 set-pref-src=111.69.16.215 disabled=no
,
but that had no effect.

Thanks,

Re: eBGP routes all inactive due to gateway unreachable

Well, if I go static routes only, everything works sweet, as I can assign an interface as gateway. Doing BGP it populates the gateway with the peer IP (as expected). And this gateway shows as unavailable, even though the dynamic entry generated by IP address assignment show the gateway being availab...

Hi mrz, thank you for pointing me to that wiki article. I read through it and figured that I cannot apply "Add default route with scope < target-scope of BGP routes:" as the default route is also a BGP route (which I cannot adjust). Further, all BGP routes received have a gateway which is ...
