Seems to me that you are talking about a hotspot setup. If yes, increase the session time to 24H
If not, please post more details

Try to read that info with something like iReasoning MiB Browser and see what data you get. If you get the correct data, than it is a MRTG issue.

Hi

Yes, I have done Hotspot in CAPsMAN. I have also done some setups where for different datapaths, I have used Hotspot running in one datapath and DHCP in another, with virtual interfaces multiple ssid.

I dont have experience with authentication to radius though 😞

Hi Normally the fact that you didn't choose specific channels to be used could decrease performance but should not decrease the ping time inside the LAN. Anyway. The easiest thing to do is change the config of those APs in standalone APs, with normal routing and same ssid, the way we did before CAPs...

I would suggest to do a scan in wireless and see what other access points are transmitting near you. Try to find the most unused channel. Got a CCR 1036 running with 900 users and 107 AP. So monitor your 1009 and upgrade if needed. Using one bridge and a separate management interface. Thanks. Nice to know that only the core router will maybe be a problem. Will update again after the beach season has started and the resort will be full.

Hi megaman RouterOS can be installed in a X86 PC. The PC should have at least 1 network card so the software can be "usable". It seems to me that you restored the wrong backup to the router, i.e the 2nd floor backup to the 1st floor router (just an example), and the new router got the MAC address of the other one you already have, than, having them in the same broadcast domain (maybe), you are connecting to the wrong route...

Hello

We found the solution. We fixed this issue by putting in the hotspot's ip bindings the MAC of every CAP, and on each CAP a ping of the CapsMan ip address through netwatch was needed.

Maybe this was needed cause of the Cisco switches in the middle of this setup.

I think that the charging current must have a low level too. Let's assume a charging current of 0.00001A. I don't think it will charge a let's say 60Ah/hour battery even for 10 years.

If you are in a routed network, you can use static routes or maybe vpn (pptp for example).
I would prefer pptp, i.e. every device starts a pptp connection to the main router, so you can access the devices through their new client vpn ip.
