This is not link speed, you see the packet in idle mode, nothing else.

But first, this is the false device, 5ghz is mostly to crowed.
You’ll better buyed some 60Ghz stuff like wireless wire dish.

Now use Cambium 802.11ac vave2 mu-mimo basestations & use cambium software for old 802.11N mikrotik devices. Trust me old mikrotik stuff work much much better with cambium software.
We use this too, terrifying how bad ROS is

Stability is more important than too high bandwidth At what distance is yours? Our longest Link is 1877m in Germany. This link drowse with every normal rain. More then 2km I would not go if this is a link with high Stability wishes. Links about 700-800m never drops..... Why you are looking for 60Gh...

The manual is showing what allowed by region's, by their regulars.

Mikrotiks software or chipset only operates to channel 5 (66000) as its highest channel
Channel 5 only works in cli
Still I had 4 frequencies not 5

the NetMetal AC2 works over 100 km? or has it the same problem like the older AC that we get only about 80 MB throughput ???
no problem with the Old NetMetal AC tested 12.2 kilometers 232mbps TCP Speed....:-)

I have problems with LDF AC. still reboot at any time, Only 802.11AC work but not as stable but it's nowhere near as good as ldf 5 802.11n. I don't know what device to buy to push about 200mbps to 8km link from crowed town to village i am considering trying wireless bonding with two LDF 802.11n and...

This is not an realy update, they had just the problem, that the used Chipset in NetMetal will not longer be available at world market...
So they have to Switch to something newer, nothing special after 6 years ......

The RSSI seems to be 10/12 worst than expected for the distance. Have you used https://mikrotik.com/product/solidmount for the alignment?

ignite Metrolinq have something similar since 2016, but the software and the USB 60G Modul is not the best solution....
So it is possible todo the combination, Mikrotik is able to build, but they don't care

I totally agree I am only looking for a reason why we don't have 5 ghz backup on mikortik 60 ghz.
When the Airfiber is available and it will work like it is announced, we don't need Mikrotik.......

Maybe because the mikrotik 5 ghz is not able to do a true backup of a gigabit radio?
That’s a different story, but 100MBit as Backup is much better then A broken connection.

And costumer dos not understand why 2 antennas are needed for him

Some 60GHz PCBs actually have space for 5GHz radio on them, so Mikrotik clearly planned to do it. But it was never released for some reason (compliance issues? 5GHz antenna issues? who knows...). But they knew about this UBNT stuff for some time and still haven't released anything... all we got is ...

Well 2km is a little too much...the max is about 1.5 km @mistry7 why you say the connection will be so bad in rainy conditions ? We have several links at this distance, we are rain area g, depends on region he will loose connection on every rain. Most times only couple of seconds but the connection...

If you need to swap SXT for Netmetal, holder needs to change too. What is your point? This is a different device, for different purpose, at a different price.
SXT is mass device, CPE on more then million roofs......

The cube60 is made to be a cheap and simple way to make a PtMP with 60Ghz over a not so big area, and even if you had a 1Gbit version (which there are, you have the wAP and the Wireless Wire Dish), you cant get more out then you can get in...(As you only have a 1Gbit port on the devices) Just havin...

no that is inconsistent, if I need to swap a SXT for a SXTsq, the holder also needs to be changed. Why? first build a toolless variant that is good, and then swap it for cheap garbage?

Transparent Bridge?

Well, i expected more. On 135Mpbs rate it should be 60Mbps stable with those signal levels and ccq.
135 Mpbs is max Brutto, its WiFi, with an old 54Mbit 802.11a you got about 20Mbit
And your CCQ shows that your spectrum is not clear....

ROS Kernel is from 2012!

Good for us, we removed all Mikrotik at Core Routers in the last 3 Month, because of bad BGP Speed, and Missing IPv6 PPPoE Features

We have no good Experience with Mikrotik at links with more then 10km
We build them with UBNT Airfiber, they Performe much better over such distances, I have a similar link here

I'd love to try 60ghz out in some of our busier areas mostly because 5ghz is super noisy. Wap has 3 Antenna Elements but uses only one Channel, the maximum is 8 Clients not 24. All distances over 150m with WAP to WAP. Or WAP to sXT needs 5 GHz Backup, with LHG with more then 500m, but they need it ...

Possible, speed depends on your allowed EIRP.
in the EU with 30/36dBm max it would be hard to get this speed with 802.11 Hardware.

If your Budget allowes it, I would go with UBNt AF5x HD
