Why not we have about 500 locations....nobody has 40 locations liar
We use this too, terrifying how bad ROS isNow use Cambium 802.11ac vave2 mu-mimo basestations & use cambium software for old 802.11N mikrotik devices. Trust me old mikrotik stuff work much much better with cambium software.
Mikrotik Call the CPE, GBit Version comes 2022 as Special, worse to talk about..+ 1
why all the 100mb ports? this isnt 2005, we need faster ports!
the bad news......The biggest announcements of the year are always reserved for the MUM EUROPE (see banner in header)
Channel 5 only works in cliNo.
The manual is showing what allowed by region's, by their regulars.
Mikrotiks software or chipset only operates to channel 5 (66000) as its highest channel
Still I had 4 frequencies not 5
And you think there is no difference between 12,2 and 100km?the NetMetal AC2 works over 100 km? or has it the same problem like the older AC that we get only about 80 MB throughput ???
no problem with the Old NetMetal AC tested 12.2 kilometers 232mbps TCP Speed....
+1The RSSI seems to be 10/12 worst than expected for the distance. Have you used https://mikrotik.com/product/solidmount for the alignment?
Wait for X-Mas........With this hardware is it sure it won't be possible in the future?
And one more - when will be available Cube Lite60 with gigabit ethernet?
Thanks a lot
Wha we should see that? With the new RouterOS v6.46 do you see some total traffic improvements on point-to-multipoint nv2 or other mt setups?
When the Airfiber is available and it will work like it is announced, we don't need Mikrotik.......I totally agree I am only looking for a reason why we don't have 5 ghz backup on mikortik 60 ghz.
That’s a different story, but 100MBit as Backup is much better then A broken connection.Maybe because the mikrotik 5 ghz is not able to do a true backup of a gigabit radio?
SXT is mass device, CPE on more then million roofs......If you need to swap SXT for Netmetal, holder needs to change too. What is your point? This is a different device, for different purpose, at a different price.
Does not work, try Openwrt, that works...If take RouterBOARD RBM11G with MiniPCI and stick this card there (http://www.compexshop.com/product_info. ... cts_id/486) with the QCA9984 chip, will it work?
What your think?
noIf the router has a channel width setting of 40 MHz is this a violation of the standard 802.11n ?
Yes, and this shows ones more, the only Big problem is Mikrotiks own Designed Wireless Driver...Can the E430H really cope with higher amount of clients? e.g. 50 to 100 on 5 GHz? (It has the same IPQ4019 chipset as the MikroTik cAP ac...)and the they are not that expensiv.....
Thats it...Concentrate all end-user traffic at one place, Traffic management reasons?
Separate "traffic planes", not to mix end-user traffic with actual routing?
Customer credentials authentication?
The audience with QCA9984 has this tothe 4011 is the only device currently supporting 80+80 and 160, however, I have yet to get either of those modes to work.
Our Solution is clear, we spent about 15-20k € Every year in Mikrotik this year under 2k, because Mikrotik is Legacy!I've tried from a ccr and I only get 10 megabytes more ... Mistry7 hace the sale problem and need a solution too
And no answer to that what i wroteand here ends this forum topic. always the same, any person defends the brand but nobody shows even an antenna speed test to prove it and how not always blame the bad configuration.
There is No Future for WISP with Mikrotik Wireless! From what I see nv2 is an old protocol, I must use a new protocol: 802.11ac that loses packets. sorry for the waste of time for the question. I thought mikrotik was solving the nv2 with ac but I see that "it is solved already" Greetings.
Looks more you Are searching for OSPFAn example, the 5 GHz. loses its connection through DFS.
The 2.4 GHz. connection must take over immediately.
That is why I would put the two interfaces in bonding.
Ether1 = 5 GHz. link
Ether2 = 2.4 GHz. link
Linux kernel has upgraded from 3.3.5 to 4.14.131.What is the current version of the kernel?I believe we used the phrasing, much imroved BGP speed, or something like that
Install labtest Beta before you try the Beta, that helps for meTried twice to install V7 on my hap ac2. Bricked the hell out if it. Thank MikroTik for netinstall...... Wil try beta2
Yes it runs about 30s so upload and Downgrade works....and you flashed it back to 6.x?Yup. Got 1 kernel panic so definitely would run this in lab onlyanyone installed it on a 4011 yet?
Look for Local ForwardingI've confirmed the problem, when I use Quick Set "Home AP Dual", my Wi-Fi upload speed will be 200mbps, if I use Quick Set "CAP", the upload speed will become 400mbps.
All my wireless setting is same, very strange issue.
What you need is a Bridge config, and the Dish set Is a P2P Bridge out of Box, is it possible to configure both master and slave units of Wireless Wire Dish as switches ?
WAN ---- Main switch ----- Master dish ------ Slave Dish ---- Secondary switch
This is more about a smartphone and a non english auto correctionYeah and I am a newbie seeking some help. Clearly, your english is worse than my config. Thanks anyway.
4.xxCan you give some information on what kernel it will be using 4.x or 5.x?I just want to let everyone know, that v7 is progressing pretty good this year, and most core functionality is usable. Some more difficult parts need to be done and we can release a public beta.
For 500m you Better Choose a 60Ghz ProductHi, it´s for about 500 meters and with 100 mbps aggregate it´s sufficient...
Finally.... lot of tests.... lot of configs, solved with a pair of nanobeam ac gen2
They will need years to get close to competitorsAny news from Mikrotik?
Wifi4EU completed (in April 2019) the second call and other thousands of municipality will receive their voucher..
This is a very very big opportunity for Mikrotik
135 Mpbs is max Brutto, its WiFi, with an old 54Mbit 802.11a you got about 20MbitWell, i expected more. On 135Mpbs rate it should be 60Mbps stable with those signal levels and ccq.
