design a full duplex...complete integrated....

hi...

i want to design a completely integrated full duplex wireless PTP system using only "Mikrotik" hardware. no OSPF or simulation type.

looking at achieving speeds (actual throughput) of around 600 to 800 Mbps.... or more.

so who else wants to come on this team? :-)

In RouterOS console $ is a special character, either you use escape sequence or avoid using such characters in passwords and usernames.
Whole list of special characters are here:

You can transport VLANs over NV2 using an EOIP interface. ETH-(bridge)->EOIP-(IP)->NV2 ~~ / ~~ NV2-(IP)->EOIP-(bridge)->ETH http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/EoIP Don't bother encrypting the EOIP link as it's redundant if you are already encrypting NV2. The best is to not use 80MHz channels.

advantage....as follows:

Winbox v3.0rc6 problem

winbox v3.0rc6 has a problem.

it just keeps closing directly without warning.

its used to happen very less earlier but recently it has started really misbehaving by just closing down.

what is wrong with it?

we are talking of simple AP<-->Client connectivity. its nothing to do with databases etc.

i am now on 6.15 and still the same problem. using AES as security standard.

SXT is the AP and around 20 Windows desktops and laptops. even the ping gives a "Request time out" after every 10 to 15 pings.

You can see from the calculations that the Recieved signal is too low. You should aim for maybe -60dBm to -70dBm with around 30dB SNR. With -85dBm you will have low bitrate hence low throughput, not to mention I doubt it will be a stable link. But on the other hand I have managed to achieve a -68dB...
