your method (switch-all-port=no) doesn't work for me, I'm sure the ethernet is not on half duplex and it still freezes 1-3 times per day. I have tested it couple of days with no luck

Did you have something mentioned about half duplex in the log, because I have never seen a line stating that in mine.
It is always "interface,info ether3 link up (speed 1000M, full duplex)"

I have perfect working links in superchannel mode, 40MHz:
5905 with HT-above;
4885 with HT-below;
6060 with HT-below;
4830 with HT-above.
So what is your problem ? Just use "no country set".

-77dBm at 300m with 18db antenna and tx-power=17 is extremely low. I have -53dBm at 100m with SXT(16dB antenna) and tx-power=3 with 100%ccq and no problems. So maybe pigtails problem or most probably antennas are bad engeneered and you are out of their actual band (not what is written on them), as y...

RB433GL sounds good to me: 680Mhz cpu, 3 ethernets and a USB.
And I haven't read of ethernet problems with it still.

How is it working? Should we expect the switch to stop function and under what circumstances?

the processor is the same, AR7161, the switch chip is no longer ICplus now is a new atheros switch chip

Is that switch chip the same as in RB435G (Atheros-8316) ?

Normis about "Ethernet ports locking up" I found that: 1. It happens on RB435G but not on RB600A. Might be related to that switch chip in RB435G??? 2. Only happens when ethernet port sends traffic. If it only receives never had happened. Might be ethernet or switch chip Tx counters/buffers...

My observations show that this thing happens ONLY when ethernet interface sends allot of traffic(80-150Mbps). If that same ethernet ONLY receives that same traffic there is no problem. I've seen frequent (2-3 times per hour) "lost connection, control frame timeout" or "lost connection, medium-access timeout" on a almost perfect link with -60 signal when it was idle. If only 1Mbit bothway traffic pass through it and no more "lost connection..." . But y...

Hi there,
I have one suggestion to MT: add the option "short" to ht-guard-interval (currently only "any" and "long" can be set), as "any" switches between 400ns and 800ns, "long"=800ns, and I want to set 400ns i.e. "short"
