PowerBox Pro Temperature Sensor Issue

Hi Guys I have two PowerBox Pro's mounted right next to each other on a tower and there is a difference of 16 degrees Celcius between the two. The models are 960PGS and the serial numbers are A51209AA8246 and A51209092FAD. Anybody else seen such a large variance in these? I would appreciate any feed...

Re: LHG 60G experience

Here is my results from a 700m connection in good weather. It seems the rssi improved and the link was more balanced after putting load on the link. I also expected more throughput at that distance.

Re: Mikrotik's management profile take high CPU

Read in another post about someone who had a similar problem so i changed my dude settings on the specific device and unchecked the Router OS checkbox in the general tab in the dude. It seems to have solved the problem.

Re: Mikrotik's management profile take high CPU

I am having the same problem with 5.7 on x86. Management uses all the cpu and it constantly runs into 100%. I have an Intel 2.4Ghz CPU with 756MB Ram and 80GB Hdd.

Re: web proxy - No buffer space available

I have my web proxy setup to (max. cache size: unlimited) and cache on disk enabled. Max client connections and server connections is set at 600, max fresh time is 3 days. In firewall NAT i redirect all port 80 traffic to the proxy on 8080.

web proxy - No buffer space available

Hi,
I am running RouterOS 5.6 on x86. The pc is a Pentium 4 2.8ghz with 1Gb Ram and 80GB Hard Disk Drive. When web proxy is active I get a mesaage on my web browser after a while saying No buffer space available.

Has anyone had this problem and how do I solve it?

Thanks.

Re: SIP via NAT

Hi, I am running a wisp down here in South Africa. We had a problem getting our sip phones working on our network and ended up installing an asterisk server. We then had the asterisk server establish the links to the sip provider ie a trunk for each sip connection and the sip phones connect to the a...

Re: RB411 Ethernet Freezes (No receive)

Yep 2 of my friends had this issue. How I made this work is make sure every ubnt unit has a mikrotik on each side of the ubnt unit and that your in routing mode. Also make SURE that the ubnt is in STP mode.

Dallas
Thanks a Million, I enabled stp on the ubnt and now the packet loss is gone! :D

Re: RB411 Ethernet Freezes (No receive)

Woohoo! Found the problem, but it was not the routerboard and not the shielded cabling. We have two rb433 and two ubnt airgrid m5's on this site. For some reason I can not understand, the ubnt's was causing the packet loss. After disconnecting the ubnt's from the network the packet loss was gone. :l...

Re: RB411 Ethernet Freezes (No receive)

Replaced the routerboard but still the same problem. :( Will install shielded cables with grounding next and let you know what happens. EMF is electromagnetic fields which is caused by electrical cabling. Basically it creates a magnetic field around the cables and this might cause problems on the da...

Re: RB411 Ethernet Freezes (No receive)

I have a similar problem. I have two RB433's on the same tower with an ethernet cable running down to a switch linking them together. I also have an ubiquiti airgrid unit on the same tower. When I ping the airgrid from rb433 nr1 it pings fine but when I ping the airgrid or rb433 nr1 from rb433 nr2 t...

Re: RB433 to RB433 Ethernet Loss

Got it working. Changed ARP setting on ethernet interface and bridge interface to proxy-arp. Set bridge STP setting to rstp. Changed queue type ethernet-default, set queue size to 100 packets.

RB433 to RB433 Ethernet Loss

Hi, I have two RB433 linked together with an ethernet cable. Both boards have been upgraded to RouterOS Version 4.5 and firmware 2.23. On the one board the cable is connected to ether1 and on the second board the cable goes to ether2. On both boards the ethernet is part of a bridge for a wireless po...

I have also installed the test package but only get the old version when I access user manager through
my web browser. I use Router OS 4.1 x86. What should I do?
