You can MPLS and VPLS over your existing ipv4 network... then transport ipv6 address to clients with PPPoE.

VPLS packet will fit in 1524 frame if control word is not used. With control word it is 1526 bytes.
And no you do not need to increase L3 MTU on bridge interfaces.

First you must connect PtP with your ISP, then you must setup valid routing system... There is no chance that internet works on your LAN side without routing or NAT (masquerade...)
