For what it's worth, I have an RB4011 (the US model) too, and it's been on 7.14 for a while and now 7.14.1 and zero reboot issue here. So it's unlikely to be a hardware-wide issue in that sense or I would also be affected.. I don't use SMB, though - so yes, perhaps that's where your issue lies (espe...

in my experience it's preferrable to keep the ssid's separate so that the client device doesn't land up on the slower band and then there's no way to change it. the primary ssid gets used for 5ghz band and then the 2ghz ssid is appended with "_2ghz" or similar

Personally I use wireguard(+eoip layered on top where higher MTU is needed. this also allows bridged configurations) wherever I can. That's what I do, and works a treat.. but lots of manual config setup for each tunnel, not very scalable

You can link the devices by ensuring that they are on the same ethernet bridge I would do this: 1. Disable DHCP on Router B and C. 2. Ensure for Router A, you have ether10 on the LAN BRIDGE. With default configuration, ether10 will already be on the bridge with a RB4011. 3. Ensure for Router B and C...

IP accounting was removed from v7 in favour of Traffic Flow feature. See this thread: https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=177606 Whether that is a good thing or not is debatable. MT developers say IP accounting is limited and old technology. I agree its removal is inconvenient as many tools n...

I wish IPV6 was as simple and easy as IPV4! :-( Worst part for me about IPv6 is that the IP addresses themselves are not easy to read or memorize. The simplicity of IPv4 address numbering and subnetting is part of what makes networking logical and fun for me. I actually see this as a major design f...

If no traffic even hits the dst-nat rule, then the problem is likely firewall-related or that your ISP is blocking access to that port from on their side so the traffic never even reaches your main router. Re: RB5009 : all connected ports flap a few times a day

Got reply from mikrotik support : thank you, but that doesn't seem to be related to the issue in this thread. I got a suggestion from mikrotik to change interface queue types and sizes and observe how it affects the issue: But unfortunately I don't have time to experiment with this right now, so if...

Re: EoIP client for Windows

Well, it is bad that it is not planned. What should we do to make it to be planned ? Create some poll, gather some votes, what ? I really doubt there will ever be a Mikrotik-developed EoIP client for windows. But if you check github you'll see there are several projects which have successfully impl...

Re: v7.1.2 is released!

I can\t delete dynamic dhcp leases. Try to click and delete but nothing happened. The leases is still there even though I deleted the dhcp setup and also the pool. I had the same problem. The error message was that the item doesn't exist. So it's a winbox bug still showing leases that no longer exi...

Re: Wave2 on RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN-US ?

Got it working after upgrading to 7.1.2 and routerboot 7.1.2, and seems to be working on 5180/ac/Ceee. Still very limited on channels on "United States3" (max 80Mhz), but at least it's working. It wasn't even detecting the radio on 7.1.1. Any recommended setup guides for this ?

Why did you upgrade to 7.1.1 if there's been 7.1.2 released for days? Try to upgrade to 7.1.2 it includes fix for lost license maybe it can help you otherwise you should email Mikrotik support...

Re: Slow Wifi Speeds On RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD

Unfortunately I live in a HOA so I have no option of choosing another ISP. After tweaking the frequency setting for the 5 GHz I was able to get 150 on the Wireless when connected on the wireless and when hard wired to the router I get 400 Mbps. I post my configuration for that change shortly. Put y...

Re: RB5009 : all connected ports flap a few times a day

So for now the best workaround is to disable the "Bridge Port" column in winbox, then we can safely enter DHCP leases & ARP list windows again without disrupting router stability. It is not sure the information is not polled when the column is hidden in Winbox. It's not, I confirmed :D

Re: RB5009 : all connected ports flap a few times a day

Just advising that this problem is also triggered whenever viewing the “IP → ARP List” Window .. Also, this is not a Winbox problem, as the issue occurs even if you access these menus from Webfig. The IP/Arp window has a column "bridge port", same as the DHCP lease windows. This info is c...
