The main issue of DNS is that it does not support multi-thread. It can load only one CPU and it`s easy to reach 100%. In this case even powerful CCR1072 is nothing against DNS request. If DNS service supports multi-thread, would be very nice.

Unless mikrotik develops specific software feature on RouterOS, no passive optic network, never. Maybe if SFP itself has small OS that manages PON, in this case any SFP supported routers may work. Re: Advertise with low or high distance /OSPF and iBGP/

You can tune both OSPF and BGP for preferential routing. OSPF uses COST and LSA types to determine the best route whereas BGP uses a best path algorithm along with attributes you can modify to select the best route. Thanks for your reply. But iBGP advertiser can not change remote router cost calcul...

Advertise with low or high distance /OSPF and iBGP/

Is it possible to advertise network with low/high cost (metric or distance) in case of iBGP and OSPF? I have 2 redundant PPPoE server routers and both routers advertise same network to the network. Session-Timeout attribute
I guess Session-Timeout indicates how long user can be logged-in without interruption. Session-Timeout includes duration of time, but not date and also it counts from the start every time when user login.

That`s not solution.

CPU goes up - is it normal ?
I think it`s not. When I tried ROSv6RC upgrading from V5 on X86, my CPU usage decreased from 30% to 25%. But when more than 800 pppoe customer connected, rebooted itself.
